After the server shutdown yesterday, i haven't been able to connect to TQ.
When i start eve, it says its connecting to '87.237.38.50' , so i click the dropdown box and pick TQ, and it stays on 'Checking Status' for a while, then another window pops up saying theres been an unexpected error while retrieving a patch.
Anyone else having this problem?

I get excatly the same thing since same time as you.
I cant even connect to test server on my copy of eve anymore now.
Tryed submitting a pertition over it and that really annoying thing happens after you spend 10 minites writing up a nice description where upon you click next/submit and they say theres been an error submitting it.
You click back to try resubmitting and all your info is lost.....great
I had a skill end yesterday midday so thats nearly 24 hours lost so far on skill training through this 1 fault, i reckon since game release when i started playing ive lost between 2-3 months skill training due to ccp, will i ever get a reimbursement? i doubt it, if i was a CEO of a big power corp in game then maybe.

Hmm..
Iv just, JUST, been able to connect to TQ.
I haven't a clue what i done, only i had the client running when i was posting, closed FireFox, and found that the server status is 'ok' with 22,688 players.

Im still knackered with it.
Cant even get on test server anymore it seems either.

 Post was made during downtime, last attempt wasnt.
A bit drastic i know, but seeing as im out the rest of the day ive decided to delete everything for eve of my pc and shall leave it downloading the full client again.
I wonder if ccp care?

Ok iv figured out how to connect.
1) Start the client and wait dfor the pop up to show about asking you to go to the support page.
2) Click NO
3) Wait for the to say Status Unknown
4) Click the arrow and select TQ again.
Thats how i got it working. Good luck.

on a side point, if you logged off in jita, you are DOA. Jita is down last i checked |

You have no idea how pis_sed off I was starting to get with the whole event, glad I spent the time to checl the forums
