Is this true? I am quite jumpy when it comes to breach of trust with card details.
The last thing I need to do is cancel my card subscription and pay with GTCs. Kind of the sad because I really want to pay with card and support my favorite company.

Tarminic, good explanation but you missed the point. I do understand how it works at that level before you have explained it to me.
I want an option to have my card details - actual or meta-details from CCP's server. I don't care about the first 4 and last 4 digits, bank name and name on card. I also prefer an option to have my card details not stored on a third party computer. The point, is I do not want any card detail to be stored on any party's server. I do not feel safe.
I do not mind keying in card details every time my sub is due.

Does cancel really remove details from CCP's server and the third party's? Could a CCP representative please confirm?
