Zekran Caldari Refugee LLC.	Posted - 2007.10.21 06:56:00 - [1] I'm CEO of a very new corp, almost all of my guys are about a month old, very few combat pilots, mostly mining. Racketeers came to the system we frequent the other day can flipping, messed with some of my miners. I showed up in a BC (we've had lots of ore thieves through lately so I thought nothing of it) and we talked some smack, I said leave, they said no. As hostilities were commencing, in warp the rest of em, more than 2-1, well, we fire some, lose a few ships, got one of theirs (which of course makes them uber since they can kill month old chars at will). A little over a day later here comes a war dec. We've got very little in the coffers, our miners are just hitting barge levels, we've got contracts coming in at last that should help the situation, when these **ers declare war. I hear from all the CEOs in the area they are well known for griefing and in general being jerks, and that there might be lots of folks with an axe to grind. Well, please contact me in-game, we can't afford a great sum of money, but if you have a grudge we'll try and work out a payment plan(and get your a grindstone for your axe as well). After talking to them for several hours earlier, even having out some pew pew with their tech 2 gear vs our lowly crap, we came to the conclusion they were going to keep the grief up, and so I've decided to come ask for any who are willing to help(or who can work out an affordable payment plan). Ed, I wasn't going to post anything until Zyben had to be a total ** in chat. This led me to believe you guys really are just griefing and we did try our best to get along. I still think highly of you, you're like a Han Solo minus the conscience. And again, thank you for praising us by showing us we're worth your time, should help in regards to the offers of assistance -Zekran, CEO Refugee LLC. We tried to be civil and set up some nice fights, since they obviously can win, however when one of them cannot beat our month old chars with their higher SP and t2 ships they run away! He is right, we do taunt and attack, we do not take lightly threats from bullies and will not be backing down! It's been made very clear we cannot afford to pay you off, even moreso now we cannot safely mine, so we will fight tooth and nail and you'll cower eventually. I know Zyp wouldn't even fight yesterday, we waited an hour for a one on one challenge and eventually we just fought one of their other characters, I believe it was Zyben. They all talk alike (hot air, bluster, non-logic) so it's hard to tell them apart. Ed Kraka is the only Racketeer worthy of being called a true criminal so far. Perhaps RenegadeRacer their CEO as well, those two at least have a right to be called honorable griefers. It's rather disappointing to be war dec'd and griefed by folks who are so imcompetent at it! Also, to the person who asked about the name, a friend of mine came up with it, one of the folks I founded the corp with, we've been gaming for years now, and we move game to game alot(until now, EVE is the best one we've ever found) and so he came up with the refugee name, we all thought it was great. bunch of previous wow players who almost gave up looking for a game with REAL risk involved. To those corporations with whom we have supply contracts, we will try and arrange with you some way of sending you the materials and items, please be patient for us though! Thanks for all the offers of help, I am sorting through them and this afternoon when I am back on I will be in touch! Best thing we can hope to do is just not make ourselves targets....and the easiest way, is to just not be there.

Posted - 2007.10.21 22:52:00 - [37] Well, the battles will commence soon but I feel better already knowing how poor their language skills are proving to be, I will keep you all up to date on how many cheap t1 frigates we lose, and how much of the Racketeers time we can waste! I for one have gotten some popcorn, a soda, and I think I'll log in, go afk and watch all three Indiana Jones movies tonight, he's my hero! Racketeers enjoy the view of that planet far below, and I hope camping outside the station isn't too boring for you! I hope we can continue to abuse the local channel with lots of talk though. I'm a man of words in times such as these, at least until I can afford men of action! Racketeering is not pirating I must agree though, at least pirates go for targets that are worth their time and effort, if you guys were pirates you'd go broke wasting time on Corps like mine =p Refugee LLC has lost a few battles, but we're winning this war! Bullied perhaps, picked on, but actually this has become rather enjoyable watching how they have to work in shifts to camp us in station. We love hopping out in shuttles and giving them something to chase, if only for a moment. We're using this time to work on some nice long skill trains, and are very much enjoying their useless smack. I do wish they would come up with something besides the old "we're l33t, you r n00b, come here so I can kill you!" stuff though. Really and truly, we're borrowing the tactics they use for fighting equal or superior forces and they get so mad it's hilarious. Bullied perhaps, picked on, but actually this has become rather enjoyable watching how they have to work in shifts to camp us in station. We love hopping out in shuttles and giving them something to chase, if only for a moment. We're using this time to work on some nice long skill trains, and are very much enjoying their useless smack. I do wish they would come up with something besides the old "we're l33t, you r n00b, come here so I can kill you!" stuff though. Really and truly, we're borrowing the tactics they use for fighting equal or superior forces and they get so mad it's hilarious. But yes, griefing was a poor choice of words, can I edit the topic name? See that's the spirit. There's nothing wrong with trying to frustrate them or make their life hard. They afterall chose to war dec you. Keep it up and they'll soon get bored. Another thing you may want to do is see who else they are at war with via the corp tab and see if you can team up against them. I have to admit, I can't do that. We had some RAK out messing with our miners, we're gonna fight back. Problem is we're beaten, so it's really boring. I asked RAK to come back in a month when we have some ships again, but they won't. It's kinda dull but I guess they get a kick out of blowing up t1 frigs as we undock =p we've made out pretty well, last I looked we are their worst efficiency rated war. (thanks in large part to Dreacon and his afk adventures!) All in all, it's just that they get their enjoyment via denying others' theirs. Some peeps are like that, and I'm sure they've gotten many a n00b to quit, they keep telling me to. Use a combination that fits you: Look at the map and scatter all seven members across the galaxy. Relocate every day. Dock up. Sit in station and chat with your mates or play the market. Alternatively fly to a safe and cloak. Then leave the computer on while you go to school/work. The other extreme: DonÆt log in. Keep your time spent in game to a minimal. Only fly crap. Limit your use of ships to shuttles and low tier T1 frigates. Use warp core stabilizers. Move to low-sec and have the rest of the pirate community to wait there for the racketeers as they follow. And maybe most importantly do not talk in local.

Pulling out the "jokes" about my appearance says alot about your personality and suggests you have some real life issues you may want to address. Last time I was "mocked" over my appearance was probably in nursery school.
