Interesting read from PL's point of view.
What I have found interesting is the RSF posters always say rise was beaten by 25 black-ops/PL in RISE space.
This is very far from the truth based on simple observation of killboard statistics and posting history here on CAOD. RISE did initially fight against PL when they first came in and were somewhat successful. What got most of them fed up was anytime they'd get a large enough gang to confront PL within 30-40 minutes a huge Goon force would show up and, combined with PL, would have them out numbered 2/3 to 1 wiping out any headway they had made against the PL forces in system and forcing them to either take unacceptable ship losses fighting outnumbered or go 'hide in a pos' to keep assets relatively intact. This eventually made it very difficult to get anyone to dot up because everyone would just go "what's the point, the minute we get enough for a fair fight they'll just blob us to hell and gone".
The hard-core PVP'ers got fed up and went off to do their own thing, eventually nobody would dot up and things just went to hell in a handbasket from there. It wasn't the 25 PL in system that killed RISE, it was the fact that they couldn't effectively counter because when they did they'd just get a 100 person blob dropped on them within a few minutes.
Also remember that from the time RISE arrived in Feythabolis they were in pretty much constant warfare from day 1. Attacked by RA, attacked by Goons, attacked by TCF, etc. There was a short respit over the summer where they had KOS on the ropes until KIA came to KOS' rescue... then CA, Inv, FREGE, Freelancers and an unknown number of other alliances were brought in and drove RISE out of KW and back into RIT. Barely having recovered from all those fights PL showed up and the rest is history. RISE didn't fall in a day, or a month... months of attrition and combat slowly whittled away at them. PL/Blackops was, as far as this observer can tell, just the icing on the cake.

PL taking credit for RISE's problems is like the rooster claiming credit for the sunrise. It's pretty much a lollerskates thing. Yeah, nothing at all to do with the hundreds and hundreds of goonies, TCF, KOS, UL and whoever else was around.
I just love how the goonies with RISE are pretty much doing a pitch-perfect imitation of BOB in their various ASCN threads. Pick your enemies wisely because that's who you become, etc! They're even dropping the ZOMG YOU AREN'T RELEVANT WE ARE MIGHTY GOON stuff pretty regularly now. They've really gotten serious about their interweb spaceships!
The goons are BoB now. The Mitanni has every bit of the ponderous pretension of Sir Molle; the rest of them are busy imitating dbp and digitalcommunist. Well, poor old Orangir is busy emo-ing away about slights to every interest group around (except for those from goons of course). That's kind of a new twist -- I don't recall anyone at BoB as emo as poor old Orangir. zomg racists all around!111
But mad props to MC, eh? Wow, how awesome are they! (Be sure to flame them only on your alts plz!)

Just posting to say I quoted you without actually reading it. You sound more goony than goons, and that's going overboard.

Posting to raise two important questions.
1) Why are there so many goons who want to play space analyst on an alt?
2) Why are they so horrible at it?
3) OP, and your array of alts, can you make sure that you never ever post anything again?
Furthermore, these events are nothing compared to what goons have achieved earlier. |

RISE fell. Whichever entity or entities caused it doesn't really matter. I believe it was a group effort from all parties involved. robert never came to try and save you, so you never really had a chance. Getting hung out to dry stinks eh?
To the op (Dungar ), way to be creative. Our forums are full of crap no one pays attention to. Great find.
