Before you jump to the usual conclusions, I¦m sure Atrocitas will inform you that we brought it to them just as they brought it to us, even though most of the alliance was in 0.0 fighting the posh wars to keep some of the elitists in here happy. I¦d say isk-wise the losses on both sides were the same, counting in the deadspace stuff that got destroyed in the process. I recommend them as mercenaries, even though I was on the wrong end of their guns.
What I¦m curious about, is how the employer got satisfied so easily. I thought he was asking for nothing less than the complete and utter destruction of me and my assets. Considering how one day we kept Atrocitas camped in while we were wasting the employers corp, and that once the war dropped he packed up his POS and left the system, one could actually call this an unofficial ¿surrender¿.
Atrocitas do indeed fight very well and organized, and I think the war was over the moment both sides dropped their "doomsday devices" on each other, since it¦s a one-time trick. Atrocitas know what I¦m talking about
And to keep the elitist 0.0 dwellers of this thread happy, the war started when 3 of us jumpcloned to empire for a trivial matter, got smacked and insulted to hell by the employer, and surpise surprise, this game can actually be fun! The Thread that started it all

Problem with this war is most of ATA was sitting in 0.0. They had 1 corp out of ATA to fight even after I invited them to 0.0. So how does that make this a win when all they did was shoot at a small % of ATA?

I will say that the merc corp at least gave a decent fight to those that were back there for them to fight. I love hearing that it was a smack free and clean fight. Now maybe the guys that employed them could follow suit with the smack free part and not get themselves into the mess the next time.
Apologies......I didn't mean to imply YOUR alliance specifically wouldn't undock. I meant to point out that this is often the case, and lack of kills doesn't always mean a lack of ability or will :)
On the other hand....it makes it a win because they caused more damage to you than vice versa. If that's because only a small % of you were being attacked, perhaps the rest should have helped instead of expecting the mercs to come fight where you want and on your terms.

Indeed it was a very nice war and i want to thank Atrocitas for the non-cmakcing feature, wich i very much apriciate. It was a fair war, on both sides, just to bad that your Employer is, imo, such a unpleasent superb smacker, but that's beside the point.
Again I want to thank these honest mercs for fun. Sig removed, lacks Eve-related content - Cortes |

It was a win for us because we accomplished our employeers objectives and satisfied what they wanted. That's what mercenaries do. If we don't need to fight all of you or fight you on your home turf to win, so to speak, why would we? :)
As for the rest, it doesn't matter. We accomplished our employeers objectives, had fun and made money. Well, all of us except Phelaen did. :P I told him not to fit his Eos like that. ;)
As for the length of the war or anything that happened afterword, I can't say. We don't make those decisions, the man with the money does. And he decided he did not wish to contract us for another week.
Good fights, gentlemen. See you in space o7

I certainly would recommend Atrocitas if you're looking to hire a merc corp. They're careful so they don't give up easy kills, fight hard and do not smack talk or otherwise embarrass their employers. Unfortunately, our time zones did not match up perfectly so there was a fair amount of station camping (I think I spent 1/2 the war being camped by blobs and we camped them and attacked their employers when we could), but we had some good solid fights. They certainly work well together as a team and are capable of bringing in increased firepower when needed.
I wish them the best of luck with their next contract.

I was refering to the xx guy who said no one really wants to hear about a 20 man corp.

I can't help but read that as atrocious alliance. Well done though I guess.. even though theres plenty of 0.0 players who could pull those stats off solo without the losses..

In honesty, our combat effeciancy could have been higher. At least thats how i feel and i know where we made a mistake or two. Ultimately though the customer was satisfied, and Antesignani Alliance came out as a good bunch of chaps through it all. As to our employers packing up POS's and moving, thats his perrogative and has little to do with why we were hired. We still cant figure out wtf was in that area to fight over, but good times and good fights all the same.
As to the pronounciation of Atrocitas,I can't help but chuckle. Its said just like Atrocity, but instead of the an EE sound at the end, its 'ahs'. Ah-trass-it-ahs.
And lastly as to blobbing the Vagabond, it tastes like sweet salty tears. It got ganked, oh well. If you're ever in a fight or battle anbd things are going fairly, some one is doing something wrong.

Just for the records of History, we weren¦t fighting over that area, we are rarely seen in that system anyway. We were just murdering them indiscriminately because real life insults of that magnitude have consequences.

7 ships rushing to kill a simple Vaga is a blob. And he wasn't out of dock range as the dock range of those Gallante stations is huge.

In all fairness, I'm glad to have people that fight us.
Yes, they outnumber us, but that's one of their advantages, and I expect them to use it fully.
