"Good Evening."
A young Gallente man sits at a table in a bar, the table top scarred with abuse. A cloud of smoke hangs above his head, obscuring everything but him and a holographic stripper in the distance. Her best days have obviously passed her by but her movements are that of a true professional.
"Stimulus as of late has had its sights firmly set on Providence and its environs. We have had high success and bitter defeats in the area and we as a Corporation are happy with our results." Beyond his right shoulder, a tenderbot in about the same state as the stripper sets a fiery drink alight with a flamethrower. "However, everyone seems to have jumped in on CVA and their pets, leaving our targets during our usual peak hours minimal, and so our ability to create an impact is also minimal." The man smirks. "As of now, Stimulus operations in Providence are suspended."
A waitress in an outfit that is too small, carrying a gun that is too large, places a glass in front of him containing a brown liquid and ice.
He continues, leaning in and lowering his voice, "As to the future? Setting our sights further afield, we came across the current battle between CYI, APEX and Duty. The operatic struggle of Federation and State supporters locked in deadly combat for the good of their respective peoples. Well," he chuckles softly, "not really, no."
He leans back once again, raising his voice to its normal volume, "The truth is: they are simply running through the checklist. Playing their parts by rote, they are pretending to fight for the betterment of all. The end result is loyalists with chests full of shiny medals and space full of the corpses of their crews."
He trades his smile for a stern scowl and finishes his drink in a gulp. "These kids need to be taught the truth of war and conquest: It isn't a game, it isn't honorable, no Sir, it is hell!" Placing his now empty glass on the table, he continues, "Due to recent events, we'll leave APEX alone for now. This leaves two players undealt with, so as of Sunday, 21 October 109, Stimulus is at war with The Cyrene Initiative and shortly Duty."
He spits out the rest, each word escaping like chipped ice, "No terms. No publicity stunts. No public goals. Just a lesson scrawled in blood."
