Due to the large amount of recent allegations of various illegal activities, the Caldari Business Tribunal has decided to investigate the APEX Conglomerate from within. We will be proceeding immediately from time of this announcement, and expect full co-operation from the APEX Conglomerate or it will face heavy repercussions.
To those who have made allegations, either currently or in the past, please expect contact from myself shortly.

I see the massive paranoia among the members of the CEP and the CBT grows stronger by the day.
It's amusing to watch the leaders of the State fight amongst themselves at times.
Good luck to APEX, although from your reputation, you have nothing to worry about.
Yet another misinformed and inefficient allocation of State resources.

We maybe be pirates, but we are also businessmen and women, with billions of isk invested into State corporations. We take the CBT Investigation very seriously, and we are sincere in having full confidence in CBT not finding any evidence that could result in a fine or any other form of sanction which could impact the bottom line of APEX.

TAKAGI Corp commend the action taken by the Caldari Business Tribunal. Indeed, a full investigation is necessary.
Since this issue concerns Federal assets, TAKAGI Corp think that the only way to make sure theses investigations were totally fair is to include in the inquiry board a federal lawyer. TAKAGI Corp have in mind Marie d'Artois, whose independance and loyalty to the truth cannot be questionned.
If such a proceeding is being launched, TAKAGI Corp see no reason for the continuation of the war, since we'd believe that if Apex is found guilty, they would be convicted to pay an amend in proportion of their crimes.

It's fascinating how one could both be a lawful citizen and at the same time a very well known pirate. I do not doubt that you and your colleagues have invested billions of isk in State corporations, but it still strikes me as odd. Either you ought to be a Citizen or not. Choosing not to be a Citizen, and you have chosen to fore go your rights that are entitled to a citizen
That being said, APAX is being accused of dealings with pirates and of pirate activity, such as fraud and theft, yes? It does not look good when you speak and behave as Citizen, pirate. (( ))
To APEX, my best wishes and hopes that you are cleared of all allegations.
I do not wish to be impolite, so should anything that I have said here offended you, miss Naphtalia, I apologize. Please correct that which is wrong in what I have just said.

Well expect away. Veiled or not, telling the Tribunal what outcome you want is not wont to go well for you. Also, good luck with being cleared of corruption charges, APEX, because I really think that's going to happen.

Preliminary investigations have occurred, and while as of yet no illegal activities have been uncovered, I am certain they will be found.
However while nothing illegal has been discovered, the investigation has shown that the APEX Conglomerate, especially it's leader, Vendrin Latanis, has a far too much contact with pirate and anti-state organizations. It is clear from information submitted to the public by DUTY, as well as inside sources among the Conglomerate that some arrangement has been reached between the capsuleer alliance "The Guristas Associates" and the APEX Conglomerate. Further investigation is required on whether this is an arrangement that breaches State Law, or one of such where the Conglomerate pays for safe passage, which while frowned upon, is not inherently illegal.
While the above acts are not necessarily illegal for a State corporation, especially a capsuleer one(REF: Case File NOH-NXZ9128A)they are not acceptable for an organization such as the Caldari Special Operations Division, a semi-autonomous portion of the Caldari Navy. Whether through complicity or ignorance, the Caldari Special Operations Division and it's leadership allowed an organization it espoused loyalty to engage in arrangements with anti-state forces. As such, after conferring with the Caldari Navy and their approval, Admiral Derooy is stripped of his rank, and the Caldari Special Operations Division is dissolved.
Further results of the investigation will be forthcoming.

Seems your over-the-top interpretation of your jurisdiction has already caused irreparable damage to one corporation (CSOD).

You obviously don't know the State at all.
The megacorps will get involved in anything they want. They'll tear you down for things that have nothing to do with business or loyalty. It's just an exclusive club that they want to keep to themselves.
To Mr. Latanis, all these rumors are killing your reputation. Come out and clear the air. I don't believe these things they are saying about you, but people will believe them if you don't come out and tell the truth. |
