and think about it this way, 30 posts per page, 40+ pages(have to deduct the alt posts for it), most with more than 1 acct... 1200+ people threatening to pull bare min $18000 a month(1 acct per signed post)... save yourself some headache CCP just fire the guy that thought this up and use that same money to pay someone to fix something really broken

NOT signed - this petition makes all the carrier pilots look like TOOLS.
The proposed changes may not be perfect, but its a damn sight better than what we have now. As a carrier pilot myself - I have never found the carrier to be useful as a solo PvP ship. About the only thing its good at in pvp is tanking itself and other ships.
Now, just imagine the battlefield of 2 years in the future - each alliance has 50-100 motherships, and launches 25 fighters each. In a typical alliance vs. alliance fight, what would it be like? Theres no reason currently not to use them as they provide a massive tank, damage dealing ability, logistics and remote rep to one another, not to mention the remote ECM burst.
Motherships online? I don't want to play that game - battleships should be where the fight is, and capital ships are overused.
