What do all of you do to keep from getting bored in Eve? (Maybe it's just me) I can't bring myself to rat constantly, can't bring myself to mission constantly, and spend most of my PvP time in transit and never actually finding a fight (With the exception of the nice 3v1 or worse gate camps). Never in any game has it been such a chore to find something as simply as a PvP encounter, and this is my 14th or 15th MMO.
Since all of those have failed me, what would the general consensus suggest? I'm about 10 mil mostly in Amarr ships and combat, and as much as I truly want to enjoy this game I find myself only logging in to change skills, fly around for half an hour, and just log out again. Or am I simply doomed to not be an Eve Online player?

I understand you mate. Ratting constantly, running missions and mining can get tedious and boring fast. To avoid feeling the boredom, I read a book or chat it up with friends/acquaintances. The occasional attack by various enemies can also help alleviate the boredom.

I do the same along with readining the forum, getting into pointless frig cruiser and bs wars with freinds( we dont destroy the bs but im sure you quessed that), and reaserching ship fits and skill paths on the market(the ship fits and skill path searching blows a lot of time and i find it fun).

Really been finding myself spending more time on the forums than in the game itself, which is kind of bothering me. I love the forum community, but it seems like I spend way more time reading about stuff than actually doing stuff.

I found something quite fun to do with my Isk, I joined the Eve Online Hold'em channel and started playing No Limit texas hold'em for isk which is actually quite fun. if you want some more info convo me.
