This is High4Life's official statement:
We joined Smash 8 weeks ago. One of the things that we were given to understand was that Smash is run by the corp CEOs. This is not true: Smash is run as Peoke's personal property. This would have been perfectly fine if the members were treated with the respect required to at least let us know what we were working for in a transparent way.
In addition, there was another incident which showed even less respect, specifically towards this corp, which I will not discuss.
Consequently, we spoke with TWELVE corps in Smash, who all agreed that Peoke was not the best leader for Smash. At this time, we were still under the impression that the alliance was more important than any single pilot in it. A majority of CEOs and a large majority of pilots in Smash do not have full confidence in Peoke's leadership.
Peoke's reply (posted above) was to threaten his own alliance with Roadkill: even if he lost the vote, the "offending" executor corp would be dec'd by RK until he was restored. Onlookers may judge for themselves what level of respect this shows for Smash pilots, and what kind of authority their leader has over them
HI4LI is leaving Smash space as quickly as possible: in fact most of our assets are already in hi-sec. We will not aggress on any blues. We will return the consideration shown to us in giving us time to move.
We will be looking for a new home. We have no particular affiliations.
I would say that we very much enjoyed being in Geminate, and I do not hold any grudge against the alliance membership. I wish them all the best and good fights.

LOL WTF? COME ONE COME ALL we could use the extra kill mails haha... I may be a small part of smash leadership. However, the truth is we cut the fat ... unfortunately the fat has big mouths and whines a lot.
Anyone outside of our Allies have our stamp of approval to accept any of these FORMER smash corps. Think of all the strength you will gain from them... we are spinning out of control by losing them hahahaha.

Grow up you idiots. As much as I hate to admit it, Peoke has done alot for your alliance. Maybe hes not the most inspirational leader this side of the world, but its not as though hes not trying to be.

ah the grievances against the ineptitude of one and the few. we wanted to know where out isk was going we kept getting round about answers and its like WTF. a straight answer would have been nice. We also didn't like the as stated above general disrepect given to us by the so called alliance leadership as well as the whimsical idea of peoke with no given reason behim 90% of it so there we have it a general and in no way complete set of grievances. |

The reality is, none of the older corps that 'know' Peoke were even solicited for opnion. What we're left with is a corp that already said they were leaving, a few that had been in SMASH a few weeks and one corp with one guy with ambition. Some people are easily led. Peoke's failings are numerous, one person tried to exploit this, found a couple of backers and went for it. It was ill thought-out and they essentially got nothing other than alot of discussion and drama. Some people had some things clarified and are fine, some others had their eviction schedules updated.
18 Months ago SMASH had no space, we now have built a home with strong allies. Some corps seem to think that those allies are allied with SMASH, when in reality they are allied with the people who have helped them, and will continue to help them.

End of the day, peoke is a poor leader. he is very dis-orgernised, hardly plans anything and dictates what he wants from his members without any council with their CEO's. SMASH regional defence is a joke and without RK they wouldnt even be where they are.
this is my MAIN, and i do have the balls to have my opinion. and i've also told peoke this to his face.
so no biggy.

LOL is all i have to say. Peoke mite not have the best people skills but he gets a job done. U say he doesn't listen to CEO's lol u guys are funny if any decent ideas came out then they would be listened to but he doenst really get many.
As far a peoke goes no one really lieks him but to control liek what 2k ppl and talk with allies as well has gotta take some time. I respect all alliance leaderships. They give up their play time basically to listen to all the whine and childish comments.
Leadership roles are hard to satisfy everyone CEO's have a hard time keeping ppl same goes with alliance u cant keep everyone happy. Those that dont meet set criteria are cut those that dont contribute get cut. Some are graceful like H4L bunch of good guys repect to ya. Other whinging girls need to grow up a little and stop smacking on the forums coz no one really cares that u are all upset and need ur teddy

The reality is, corps are consulted, your CEO however does not appear to pass that information on. That problem will follow you to wherever you go sorry to say. Last time I heard from an NYIT member was when he was complaining to me that his CEO had taken all his faction towers and refused to give them back. Sometimes it's easier for a person to be lied to and stolen from if spoken to nicely and be happy, than it is for them to be worked hard for if they don't get the right motivational bull**** speeches. Turns out you don't know what you've got till it's gone.
