I'm sorry I have to post this...you're a good guy. Unfortunately, undermining your recruiting efforts is the only way that I can expose the true character of your CEO so that nobody else follows in my footsteps and falls victim to him.

I regret to inform you that Chemikil and I are resigning from Local Cockroach. Our last day will be March 15.
After a long discussion, Chemi and I both came to the conclusion that the current platform Roaches offers particularly to Chemi and I does not sufficiently meet our current goals within EVE.
We'd both joined Roaches with every intention of being part of a greater community and contributing equally to that community. However, within Roaches, that community is in more of a "growing" stage than what first appeared - which, as being newer EVE players, is not something that Chemi nor myself are ready to commit to.
I can assure you that nobody has influenced our decision but ourselves. We truly want to leave on good terms with you, Jerry, and the rest of the Roaches. We're just looking to get our feet wet in some larger fleets and see what the bigger corps politics are all about...and that's the bottom line.
Thank you for the support and the opportunities that you'd provided during the last month. We truly learned a lot from you guys and are most appreciative of it.
I wish you and the corp all the best. I do hope our paths cross again in the future.

Hanthion - You talk about being part of a community and equally contributing, but I don't get that feeling from you in return. I spent a lot of time answering eve related questions and I offered a lot of ship/skill suggestions. I spent time risking my assets to rescue you and shuttleboy out of a WH. Jerry and I even came to back up your 0.0 ratting efforts, even though corp operations were supposed to roll out of Enal.
I also believe I stated the "growing" aspect of the corp after you joined and you let me know that you were looking for a helpful corp, the progressive aspect was fine, and that you would be in the corp for a while. 3 weeks membership and an "Official Resignationlol" isn't something that sits well on my end.
If another CEO asks me my thoughts, I will let them know that Hanthion has potential and intelligence, but he is not worth personally investing in until he illustrates loyalty and significant contribution to the corporation. And I will tell them Chemikill has no problem being a worthless member in a package deal. Other than that, you guys are cool dudes.

1. If you think that forcefully projecting your opinions (not knowledge) is in any way a form of "suggestions", you are wrong. Your members should not be subjected to on-going harassment on how to level their characters to accommodate your corp.
2. Calling a former corp member (who resigned respectfully) a "worthless member in a package deal" and then following up with "you guys are cool dudes" is very un-CEO like, and should go without saying, that you're simply bitter about the situation. Chemi's lack of contribution is a result of your lack of leadership, he doesn't want to play because the corp is inactive.
3. If you think that taking 15min from your "busy" schedule once over the course of an entire month to "rescue" me was some sort of show of devotion, you are wrong. I do not fly ships that I cannot afford to lose, your help was appreciated...but by no means was it necessary. I never told Shuttleboy to bring 5bil isk worth of implants into a wormhole...your grief on the matter is with him.
4. You and Jerry did not "back up" my 0.0 ratting efforts. You came to 0.0 to indulge in an operation that I was self-sufficient in because you youself are too lazy to provide activities to the members of your own corp. 99% of my corp activity, I organized myself.
5. I was told Roaches is a "wormhole corp", but Jerry (not you mess) did one wormhole with me over a month. I was told Roaches was growing, Roaches recruited one member in a month's time and then lost that member. I was told you were active, you have one active member and that is Jerry, not you. You've got Jerry running all your dirty work recruiting, and grinding rep for you. Jerry works hard while you reap all the benefits. Jerry should be CEO.
6. I could give a rats arse about receiving a reference from you after such a disrespectful response.
Fly unsafe.
P.S. Jerry, start your own corp and I guarantee you'd still have Shuttleboy, Chemikill, and myself as very active members. |

Now, lets compare this last inconsistency to a member like Jerry:
When Jerry first joined the corp he was the type of player who logged on and asked how he could help, how he could integrate better, and he showed loyalty and significant contribution from the very beginning. He is the type of player that illustrates what it means to be part of a greater community, you are not. Jerry is the type of player that is worth personally investing in from the start, you are not.
And as far as Jerry's leadership in this corp goes GÇô Due to my previous inactivity the corp fizzled out and Jerry was the last to leave. So, he left the corp for a while and then chose to come back to Local Cockroach with the intention of building it back up. You're absolutely correct in citing that he does the majority of the work right now - he chose that role. I'm really lucky to have a member like him because players like him are the best. A collection of members like him are what makes a corp extremely successful. I want more players like him.
The saddest part about Chemikill and your memberships is that I pegged your personality types from the start. After a few days of watching your isolated activity in the corp, I informed Jerry that it was more important to keep recruiting and looking for pilots that are down for the people and the greatness of a corp. I let him know that it was an energy drain to personally invest in players like you and Chemikill.
Chemikill illustrating what a "worthless member in a package deal" means: He logs on and doesn't say hi, he doesn't respond when people say hi, and he doesn't engage in conversations or ask questions. He sits on some other ventrilo with you instead of joining the corp ts3. You even commented yourself about his recent lack of playtime and questionable attitude. He didn't write a letter of resignation, you wrote one and attached his name. I enjoyed talking to him the two times in three weeks that he joined ts3, but seriously, he was a worthless contribution to corp dynamics. Any CEO with experience knows this type of player.

Potential recruits: Yes, Local Cockroach is rebuilding. Shuttle, the only reason I dropped your name is because I rescued you and Hanthion out of the WH at the same time - I wasn't saying anything about you, or trying to drag you into the conversation. But since you're here, of course it's good practice to only fly what you are willing to lose. Unfortunately, it seems you and Hanthion have both missed the bigger picture of what it means to be part of a cohesive squadron of pilots. As a CEO and squad member, when I have 2 members stuck in a WH with 5.15 billion isk worth of implants, you're damn right I change to an appropriate ship and risk my lesser assets for the greater good of my team. It's called teamwork and it's a foundation for success. Did I get the same level of loyalty and dedication from Hanthion or you? - Not quite. |

Same level of loyalty? See thing is this man that ive done absolutley nothing to you or the corp exept from the fact that i never asked 1 single damn thing from u or the corp... if anny thing ive gladly given to the corp... the mining and so and asked for absolutley nothing in return but apparently it wasent enough t please you. Ju just had spit out somthing like that eh? so u have no right what so ever to comlain on my loyalty! And the loyalty u speak of is not something u own the right to u see... the loyalty sould be directed towards the whole corp.. so dont make this bout you. so dont preach to me about my loyalty. Cuz apparently u got the meaning of the word totally wrong. Ungratefull and damn self centered is what u are and indeed that is not a good base to build a corp on.
