This is my third time back to the game. Started the game coming out of beta. Left, came back, left again for two years, came back about a month ago. Still no info on Jovians? Jovian space is still closed? Is this just a reserved Dev playground area? I know Jovians I guess are not playable but I thought by now the space would be open. Can anyone shed some light on this subject for me please?

I think they are gonna save Jove some more years till the graphics engine and tweaks etc are done. Jove space must be the final end game we are gonna see, and what a sight I imagine it will be!

Well i can only guess: :-)
Since 2003 the Planet Nibiru should be in sight of the biggest observatorys of earth. The inhabitants, the annunaki, are in eve the Joves (at least if comparing the storyline).
I am prtty sure the Annunaki would be offended if the Joves wont get handled properly or obtain the right power in eve.
ccp now had on plan to contact them until in reach, but unfortunately the Nasa which owns the only useable telescopes for it have closed them before Nibiru was in reach.
So ccp has to wait until Mai 2008 to have the very first chance to get in contact and discuss how to envolve the storyline to prepare a mass-manipulation of people for the arrival around 2012. After all in 2009 we all shall be able to see the planet, then we got 3 years left to hurry and collect the infos we all got alrdy (the Sumers, Zecharia Sitchin, Genesis, etc....). 3 years are enough time, so a global distraction ahs to take in place.
These distraction will be provided from eve, Star Trek Online and eventually Stargate online. Those gamers will be in the closer group of beein living examples for the experiments the Annunaki wanna do with us (beside they will steal all the gold from us to reinforce their planets surface again).
so give ccp time, every single step is vital and must be well planed, cause we dont wont see earth annihilated just cause they interpret our games as RL.

PS: All data i provided are just to have fun reading it and must not be accurate with the real intentions of ccp and their crew. I am pretty sure eve mixes a lot more of storys, books, series, movies and much individual fantasy of the developers:-) )
