Apologies if this is already out there. How do you identify the owner (corp/faction etc.) of a convoy? Targetting a convoy ship and bringing up 'show info' gives no detail on ownership. How are you to know which faction you will lose standing with if you attack?
Thanks.

Check which station they came from or are going to.

Thanks for the reply. Is the owner the same as the destination or the origin or both?

Shooting NPC convoys also affects the race of that convoy too. So shooting Caldari haulers will kill your Caldari faction rating. ********** Everyone deserves to die. You go first.

You only encounter convoys EITHER going into OR out of stations - The faction hit is with the one you see at the time.
Hope that makes sense, I just read it and it kinda makes sense to me

Well actually, convoys do go from one stations to another. They just make a warp in between. If you bookmark the jump-in and jump-out points yuou can take em on the inward journey always, which works better.
And teh faction rating hit goes for the station owner they leave from and to lesser extent for the one they go to i think.
You know what the real strange thing is ? There used to always be demand (pre-castor) for the goods they carry in the station they leave from !

Standing hits are major corp/faction of the station the convoys are around and minor faction standing of the region's factional owner.
So if you shoot a convoy leaving a Kaalakiota station in Essence, you'll take a standing decrease in Caldari State, Kaalakiota Corporation, and Gallente Federation -- TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |
