I am a fighting oriented player who would like to make nice gallente cash with mission running so I can afford battle cruisers, and the gear for them by the time I get to the required skills. I am at the moment doing kill missions for the Federation Navy in the Jel system. It is a -15 agent and the missions are a bit boring in a destroyer (most rats blow in 1-2 hits, the rest needs a bit more). My question would be, what should I do? Am I ready for harder missions, and if yes, do you guys know any nice region of space where I could run missions for 2-3 different agents at once? I know that I should look at the starmap and/or the corp tab at the npc profiles, and I do! However I am pretty new to the game and would love to get some veteran-tips&tricks, besides browsing the systems for agents of interest.

You can run right off the bat 4 lvl 1 agents in this system, a mix of kill and courier, and when you have standings to run lvl 2 agents there are 5 in one station.

once you're ready for lv.3s, Villore has a couple decent agents, though it's a bit farther from the tradehubs.
and then there's aunia/dodixie/auvergne for the highsec lv.4 agents once you get there :)

Train salvaging skills (Science IV for tractor beam, survey then salvaging). Bookmark 1 wreck in each "room", go to station and switch modules on your destroyer. (Salvager 1, tractor beams if you got 'em.) Proceed with salvaging wrecks. Salvage items will be 4 to 10 times the value of the mission reward and loot. You'll be a lot closer to your BC.
