Just a thought on the back of a large content patch.
People always whine about change. answer me this why would you pay to play a game that doesn't change in 4 years ? Sure you and your corp could work out the best combination of ships tactics etc etc, but then what, everyone works uses the same uber tactics and thats it, everyone is uber and ever battle is the same, no one tries anything different because the best way has already been found.
go ahead another 4 years what possible reason would bring you back if nothing changed ? sure community is nice but communities transplant real easy to the next DIFFERNT MMO.
Just because you don't like changes doesn't mean its not good for you. Humans are hardwired to resist change but at the same time we all revel in conquering our new circumstances.
I personally would quit EVE if they ceased making changes,
And no content and rules changes are not differen't, they are intertwined adding content changes the way the rules affect the game, the rules then need to be changed to mitigate the impact of the content.

is this still about the damn carrier? cant we just have a carrier subforum or something?
Changes, additions and balance fixes are important and the devs have the vision the players have the fun (and power to whine).
