I generally don't like to complain, but it is very laggy in Saila. So laggy that it takes 2 minutes to dock, and I can't do my level 4 mission, which I'm afraid I'll loose standings on. |

Please be kidding? Lag in Saila, Aramachi and Motsu is older than the sun. It's where all the space lemmings flock to. Hint: There are better Caldari agents out there than the navy ones.

In other news: Scientists find Water to be wet!
If the lag gets to the point to where you can't successfully complete a mission, your best bet is a lower-quality agent somewhere less laggy. ---------------- Tarminic - 29 million SP in Forum Warfare Originally by: CCP Wrangler Booooo!!! Tarminic sux!!!

Finding a new agent would be a workaround to the problem. The problem remains this system is Laggy, where other systems are not. Why should I have to use other agents because the game isn't working right. That's like having a new car and something broke on it, but the dealer can't fix it, and I have to take it somewhere else.
It's not like it's Jita either with 400+ people in local, when I logged last night their were only 90
The locals there seem to be adapted to the current situation, woot for them, I guess my one post on EVE-O isn't going to make that much of a difference. Guess I can always petition.

I made a topic about this not long ago, and what I've been told is that there are alot of ISK farmers running Worlds Collide mission and that causes the lag.

Indeed but its comparable to traffic on a highway - simply limitations of the hardware that cannot be easily overcome.
Quote: It's not like it's Jita either with 400+ people in local, when I logged last night their were only 90 I get the impression that Saila shares a node with several other systems like Motsu, and that combined this creates much of the lag you experience. All you can really do is move to a less-crowded area or put up with it.
I think of it this way - if lag makes it take 20% longer to complete a mission, wouldn't it make more sense to avoid that penalty by using an agent 10% worse? ---------------- Tarminic - 29 million SP in Forum Warfare Wrangler on Whining

my question is....you are part of a 0.0 alliance engaged in a war for their space, and you are running missions in empire? ROFLMAO. No wonder IAC lost a chunk of their space.

Eh. Must be a BOB ALT . Bad you derailing my thread! Goto COAD. I needed a break from 0.0, and I can make more isk running level 4's in the amount of EVE Time I have then I can ratting.

Believe me. If I get this one mission finish I'm going back to my previous agent. I think I almost have enough standings to do level 4's for CPF now which have much better agents than Caldari Navy has in my opinion.

This is the best thing you can do, and what CCP wants people to do - they're hoping that overcrowding forces people to spread out a bit. ---------------- Tarminic - 29 million SP in Forum Warfare Wrangler on Whining |

The corporation and alliance someone is in really has no bearing on this kind of topic, it's pathetic that it ever comes up, be it "why the hell are you whining about there being too much money, you're in BoB Mr. rich BoB dude that I inexplicably hate" or "lol goons and everyone on their side".
As for the actual topic at hand...
It's a well documented fact that systems like Motsu, Saila and Jita are laggy, primarily due to overpopulation. Yes, moving out of the system is just a workaround, not a fix, but the fix is difficult, costly and time consuming and is not going to be available for a long time. CCP are well aware of lag problems in 0.0 fleet battles and overpopulated systems, and have frequently expressed that they'd like to do something about it, and probably are looking at ways of doing that, but it's not going to be a quick fix.
You either have to use the workaround, or accept that your gameplay experience in those systems is.. poor.

Unfortunately, that area has been like that for ages. I tried doing missions there but gave up and moved. Have a look in Umokka if you still want to work for Caldari Navy. If not, try looking around. I worked up my amarr standings and went into Domain and kador region and worked agents there. Its nice and quiet apart from Amarr system and theres no lag.
