I am totally at a loss here, so I turn to those wiser than I. This propably has a simple answer that I've overlooked, but anyway.
To my knowledge, every character gets 30 initial attributes at character creation, spread differently depending on you race and bloodline.
Then you get 5 points to distribute how you like.
And finally 4 points from the ancestry you choose.
That comes to 39 points in total.
If you train all attribute skills (Analytical Mind, Instant Recall, etc) to lvl5 each, you get an additional 25 points.
So those two numbers together make 64.
The reason making this post is that my character has 68 points total. A friend of mine has 69 and another 70. These numbers are of course without implants. Two alts that I've made both can have 64 with fully trained skills.
So, after all this ranting, the basic question remains: What am I missing here? What have I overlooked. Thank you in advance.

Ok, now you've lost me. Care to elaborate? I thought Learning only shortens the time needed to train skills, not raise my attributes.

Learning skill increase your attribtues thus reducing the training time
2% per level
so if you have level 5 learning (10% bonus) and 10 perception you will have 10*1.10= 11 perception
If you have 20 memory with lvl 5 learning you get 20*1.1=22 memory
If you have 19 intelligence and lvl 5 learning you will effectivly have 20.9 intelligence, but it will only show 20 on your attribute list
