It's not getting changed.
What gave you that idea?

why would you want to change the vagabond?
it can't be killed by any other single ship and it brings FPS to EVE...exactly what we need

I hate vaga and vagastyle in eve. It's fun though, but was more fun when you could do it with any race (miss my nanodomi)

you are either an exceptional huginn pilot or you are fighting inexperienced vagabond pilots...1 huginn will not stop a good vag because a good vag will never be caught in belt with a huginn on scan...every other scenario involves gangs or the vag being too close to a gate or station to stop it in time...you essentially have 1 second (literally) to stop a vagabond when it decloaks after a stargate jump before he just burns to the gate.
A rapier might catch a ratting vagabond...
I truly hate them, but to their credit, they are one of the last ships in EVE that actually fill a specialized role

Nah, I like the vaga. Its one of the few ships where the Minmy 'racial skill' of speed actually amounts to something.

If I remember correctly it was a pick from the chaos server, the dev playground. I found a quite feasable slot change, more mid less low, so you have to choose between damage or speed. But in return active tanking would get a little more easy.

Also a curse with neutralizers will make a short story of vaga if it dare to come into range of neutralizers.

Tbh, unless if it's nanocurse with damps, I don't think curse would actually win. And if it's at gates/station, vaga can probably crawl back (at 600m/s) to gate/station and dock.

Hi Wildcat
I would love to know how. vaga will just run, even if you manage to kill his cap with neuts. Unless we counting on vaga's pilot dumb flying, that way I believe ya, I even killed a vaga with a nanoed navy caracal.

So you consider a Vaga invinceable because it can get away while ratting in a belt or can burn to the gate. There are quite a number of ships that can do this and never get caught (any more then the vaga). And on a 1v1 fight (with equal skills) the Huginn can kill a Vaga pilot. Vaga is over-rated and with the introduction of the new ships with scram/web bonuses the Vaga will be in an even worse position. Sure it can still burn to the gate, but so can a lot of other ships. Even a Blockade Runner (after the recent changes) can easily get back to a gate.

Do the new ships have web range bonus? A vaga pilot will never get in web range, even if he gets in web range a mwd burst will get him out of web range.

Webbed vaga = dead vaga.
Unless the pilot he is fighting is clueless.

Why yes, they do. The hyena (the minmatar frigate) has pretty low skill reqs and a 20km web. They are a hell of a lot easier to train and cheaper than a huginn to boot, so are likely to see much wider use.

Yup. But when they're at such a low skill requirement and cheap as hell compared to a huginn, there'll be a lot more of them. Just how many nanofrigates can a vaga pop in the 30 seconds or so you have before backup arrives?
That, or one hyena and one keres, for "oh **** I can't lock jack all or move" funtimes.

Well, I am not a fan of goonswarm tactics.
Also, usually when you see a crapload of small stuff in a vagabond, you gtfo pretty fast. Or... you die.
There is no need for specialized frigs. Inty zerg will do just fine. Considering they're faster and all.

In theory a gistii crow with a web fitted and a buddy in a BB can stop a vaga, considering vaga's agressed and BB is lucky in the EW dice roll. I could think several situations a vaga would die, unfortunately almost all of them consist of luck and/or poor vaga piloting. Well, we can always get another vaga to hunt it :)

Exactly. It is a ship built to survive. How well it survives, only depends on pilot skill. It is fairly impossible to kill a well piloted vagabond, and I do speak from experience, as I have done pretty silly stuff with my vaga, without it dying.
Unfortunately, player skill is not abundant, and if a vaga does not have a neut on, you can easily solo it with a taranis.
Just takes knowledge of game mechanics, which the majority of EvE players seem to lack.

We are not talking about a 1v1 between a Vaga and a Frig with a 20km Web. We are talking about having two additional ship classes that can now help web Vagas (along with all other Nano ships). And these are ships with very fast locking times so it will be interesting to see how this turns out. This is pretty much an indirect nerf on Nano ships.
