Valmir Elbereth	Posted - 2007.10.28 00:31:00 - [1] Ok I know all of us here adore Farjung's Vindi piloting skills (voted best pilot of 2006 off a popular eve fansite), as do I lol. Just wanted to know some good setups for this ship since the last search I did for Vindi builds was little at best. Any examples would be great thanks :D.

Why don't you just copy his? x7 blaster t2 (I don't fly gallente, let your grid dictate size) x1 nos x1 mwd (I believe his is faction/officer) x1 scram x1 web x1 cap injector x1 (scram / web / cap injector / ECM) x2 reppers (both large?) x1 DCU II mix of eanm/magstabs to your favor. The build from the poster above or a variation of it is probably your best bet, the vindicator's strength is active tank really, though some people do fly it in a gank fit, it's far riskier. Keep in mind farjung used an officer fit with full slave set and +8% armor implant so your mileage will vary.

Quite frankly, most of the people he killed were god-awful pilots, and I wouldn't be surprised if most of them were t1 fitted considering how fast their tanks snapped against a single MFS electron setup. In any case, don't plate a Vindi. Plating a Vindi is a waste, if you want to plate use a Navy Mega's extra low. The added cap from the MWD bonus is begging for an active-tank, so slap two faction/deadspace LARs on a Vindi and go to town. Ions/Dualrep/1 MFS is the ideal setup for a Vindi IMO. To be honest though, nowadays I prefer a plated neutron Navy Mega. 300k+ Effective HP with 1250+ DPS ftw.

Entity One	Posted - 2007.10.28 04:14:00 - [12] Sure. If you want a better tank, you can swap an MFS for a plate, it's up to preference. I like wasting the enemy quick. Highs: 7x Neutron Blaster Cannon IIs with CN AM, +Whatever fits. Meds: Gist X-Type MWD, Dark Blood Medium Cap Booster (You can swap it for a heavy but it'll be a tight squeeze CPU wise, + you don't really need it since you're not running any reps), Domination Warp Disruptor, Domination Stasis Webifier Lows: 2x 1600mm Rolled Tungstens (Baileys if you can find em), IFF or Radical DCU, 2x Corpum EANMs, 3x SS MFS Drones: Berserkers x5, or Berserkers x4 and Warriors x5 Rigs: 3x Trimark IIs, Trimark Is if that's too taxing on your wallet (but it's already an expensive setup so might as well dish out) Implants: Full slave Resists : 84.6/75/75/65.4 HP/Effective HP: 60931/296745 DPS/Volley: 1398/4530 This will melt anyone who gets into web range, and fields a tank that can handle a small fleet for quite a while. Entity One	Posted - 2007.10.28 04:30:00 - [14] It does if I use it. I prefer solo PVP, and it's not particularly smart to fly that setup alone unless you know EXACTLY what you're getting into . With that said, I fly a regular plated mega setup regularly, and that alone gets the job done 90% of the time. I assure you, you'll enjoy the navy mega build if you ever choose to fly it. The last one can you mix at your wish, fitt a web when figthing small ships, fitt a scram when you need more points Low: 2xlarge reps, officers ofc 2x EANM 1x ANM 1xMag stab Ofc all was faction/officer, you can always switch around and fitt 2 mag stabs or fitt another plating, all after what you are figthing Now with rigs you can pimp it even more. This is the settup Phony used in his movies. fitt 10% rig, and 2x armor rigs. Switch the guns from Electrons to ION's stil the same low/meds settup 7xIon blasters Mix stuff: Train t2 drones so you can dish out more dmg, The vindi is a "spec" ship, so max out your skils! Train upp in skils in your megathron first
