Hello everyone! Corwain here! I'd like you to meet me alt Janus, who I've been pirating with using blasterboats for a while now. I used to be -10 but I've sinced started doing empire wars and got his sec up for that. No worries, when I get bored of that I'll go back to the pirating career.
Here's Dangerous Business, a solo Brutix and Myrm vid. At this time a Nos-Myrm was all the rage and I was the only person smart enough to put guns on my Myrm. It was always funny watching people attack my drones, then get BBQed by my guns. I was no longer as weak to nossing ships as I dual injected most times so when people complained about nos I'd just laugh. The Brutix just wilted if anyone used a nos on me though.

Anyhow, I've collected a lot of footage and put some of the more fun clips together into a video. I'd like to do some comments on the fights. (Spoinlers)
Brutix vs. Thorax, Vexor, Punisher
If I'd know this fight would mess with my cap this bad I might not have done it. I went in mostly worrying the Thorax would mess with my already light tank. By the time I'd chewed through him I basically had no cap left to shoot the Vexor which I mostly killed with my drones and HP buffer.
After I'd popped the Vexor however the Punisher posed no threat.
Brutix vs. Brutix
At this point pretty much nobody knew this was an alt, and when I saw one of my aquantences come through local I figured I'd have a go at him. He was dual repped with electrons vs. my single rep ion/electron setup, but I was fit for max gank, which is my preferred way of flying a Brutix. I mainly won becuase of more damage and overall better skills, plus when running its blasters the Brute doesn't really have the cap for 2 reps.
Brutix vs. Myrm
Just wanted to squeeze this in because Nos-Myrms were considered the best BC at the time. Some guy was running the plex in the losec I was in, so I figured easy gank. When I jumped him though he nosed my cap to 0 and popped out 5 Ogre IIs. I'd thrown so much damage at him though by the time his drones were on me that I barely was able to finish him by pulsing my guns right when my cap boosts went in.
Brutix vs. Drake (with Thorax segway)
I just love warping in on an unsuspecting ratter and melting em, most don't even get a shot off before they melt. I also love being able to pod EVERYONE. Nothing says victory like sending your victim 20+ jumps away from "your" system.
The Drake warped in just after looking for some ebil piwates to kill. Mission runner by day, anti-pie by night he had a beastly tank. 3x LsE II, EM and TH t2 amp and a disruptor, then 4x SPR II and 3 shield rigs. This was the first time I saw t2 shield relays in gang as they had just begun to be invented. Same for the T2 disruptor which I immediatly slapped on my setup.
The bit with the thorax and geddon at the end is just in cause it's so funny to me. Warp in with a BC onto a BS+support (a bit) and they both run, one is even STABBED.
Myrm vs. Eagle, Arbitrator and Caracal
I was quite a bit more worried about this fight than it ended up being. As a decent arbi pilot myself I knew that an arby could seriously diminish my gun damage. I found out once I engaged though that for some reason the Arbi had ECM on, so that wasn't too bad.
Other thing is that with how fast I killed the Arbi and Carcal I should have just hit them first as they were doing quite a bit of damage.
this is also the first appearance in the vid of probing assistace. I trained up my personal probe alt and used it to get warp in points for me that would let me drop onto part of a gang where the rest couldn't immediatly assist.
Despite being nossed quite a bit here my dual injector setup keeps me nice and shooty. <3

Myrm vs Raven
My first shot at taking a BS on solo with my Myrm. Fight ended up being overwhelming as the Raven wasn't fielding much of a tank, included however for the gank factor. :-D
Myrm vs. Ferox, Blackbird, Ruppie, Cormorant, 2x Condor (Domi crashing in at the end)
I saw these fly through my system then saw them all sitting on the gate to the system I was in with my probe alt. Not sure if they were after me but I was bored and it seemed like a fun fight.
I jumped in, dropped my drones and MWDed back to the gate hopeing the Blackbird would aggress first. It did and my drones autoattack popped him before he could align. Made a huge mistake accidentally unlocking the Ruppie just as he was going down and he warped out befofe I could retarget. Got the Ferox, Cormorant, and one of the Condors though before a random Domi chased me away.
Later on that day I engaged the Rupture and the Blackbird who was back in a Caracal outside a nearby station when the Ruppie aggressed. A overview glitch let me to belive the Caracal was also aggressed, however when I opened fire the sentry guns objected and the Ferox pilot undocked in a drake and tackled me while they killed me. :-(
Myrm vs. Rokh, 2x Drake and Myrm
This seemed to be a gang looking for some PvP. They had a Rokh in sniping position and a Myrm sitting at the warp in, turned out he was fitted with rails however. I got my probe to get me the WIP for the Rokh and I melted him before help could arrive. I BBQed one Drake's shields, but then was jammed and he warped out. Killed the 2nd drake and MWDed to the Myrm and killed him. Generally only won because I was able to spread them all out and only tank 1 at once.
Myrm vs. Deimos and Rupture
I describe it wrong in the vid, I waited in the belt hoping the Deimos and Rupture would try and gank me and sure enough they did. The Deimos was suprised to find someone that could dish out more damage than he could. I was about to ransom when the Rupture warped in and I decided I'd better pop him before the reinforcements could tip the tide. Rupture died fast.
This marks the first appearance of my 1600mm plated setup. With 17k armor and over 700dps, it was a beast. 1600mm plate, 2x EANMs and a DC II, 2 Magstab IIs.
Myrm vs. Nano-Ishtar
I was still in my plated setup and gambled that I could tank his drones long enough to kill him and had the cap to MWD towards him the whole fight. I think he had a problem with his orbit that carried him into web range. From there it was still had to keep him there and I ran my MWD almost the whole fight.
Only ransom in this film, let it be known I honor my ransoms! :-D
Myrm vs. Prophecy
This is a vid of my first fight with Kaileen who later joined the corp I'm now in. Best damn Proph pilot I've ever met, has killed damn near every HAC in that setup. People go, "Oooh yummy" then choke on the enourmous tank. I have an extremely damaging setup (near 800dps) but only a single rep tank, nearly costing me the battle. When we reach structure at the same time I win by doing much more damage with about the same HP left.

Well all I must say is... that was quite excellent.
One point in the video your overview had a list of stuff on there that shouldn't be. Man its hard to be negative against your vid. Beautiful stuff man. Also props for the pre-nosnerf use of blasters instead of nos yourself.

Question: I dunno if it's me or what... but how do you seem to lock on to all the drones and such all at the same time?
I have auto-target back on up to the max number of targets. It's a bit hard to manage (as you see in the vid). I mainly got used to using it flying the Arby where if you got any medium drones put on you killing them would be first priority.
And I have a couple overview settings. One for fights, one for general system navigation, and one for scanning. My scanning setting has all the belts and planets on so I can see in the scanner what objects people might be at so I can quickly 5 degree scan each one. Sometimes once I get into a fight I forget to turn to my targetting/fighting overivew.

Good fights, good piloting, good music.
Quality was my only quarrel with it, but it was still easily watchable and enjoyable.

Awesome vid, enjoyed it. That last fight was great, however you let one of your Ogre II's die! He would've won if he shot at them from the beginning (without you watching).
