This is the problem:
Everytime i log in and choose which charaacter to play as, the screen goes black and the small blue, "logging in as..." screen comes up, but thats as far as I get. I can hear the space music in the background, but all i see is that lil blue screen.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm having the same problem. Guess that's what I get for logging out in Jita.

Same problem here. And my character is in Jita. Tried to fly there with other account and it's now stuck too.

Yea 2 of my accounts are held hostage in jita as well, its just the shear number of people online, in that one system, prob 1300 or better, witch all those people moving around talking, buying and selling means the node that jita is on, has to handle more trafic then it can support at any one given time, once people start logging off in a little bit, should be better.

yeah my character is too locked and i cant log in because i logged off in jita,
all i see i a screen entering the game but it never happens and the cliene is going back tocharacter choosing stage ...
it all started after jumping into the system and beaing "locked between the systems", now i cant get into the game ....

I'm having the same problem. You won't catch me logging off in Jita again...
I'm somewhat new here, so how long can I expect to wait before traffic cools down enough for us to log back in?

...ya I was bout to ask, this is gettin old pretty fast =(
.........well its gleared up by 7k people, still no luck. hope I can get in soon, I had a skill training that would be done on 10 mins 2 hours ago....all the waisted traaining time =(

What I don't get is why they don't program a screen which gives you the option to log in into a closeby system then... This bug is major and should get priority imho.

Right next to me? Did you see me hanging in space? Sometimes I got through but nothing loaded
And I need to go to Jita anyway... there are other hubs but the average price is higher there.

And guess what they said to petition? There was NO PROBLEMS with server.
It's just normal that other character works and that other one on Jita can't log in.
There goes my second account out of the window now. I am not one paying for something
that was problem on their end. It is just normal that their servers don't work and people
have to pay for those idiots pay-checks at their customer support.
And I can see from serverlog report that it was server that wasn't answering to after character selection. Morons.
