Over the past 2 years ive NPCed, mined, missioned for so long im bored of it.
What ways do you make isk without being bored out of your mind? Moon mining (No effort) building (low profits?)

I Sell GTC's it supports my PvP Habit without all that boring Mining missions and Ratting.
(People will hate me for this, but I say.....Whatever Its legal so I do it, if it was I wouldn't you enjoy the game your way and I will enjoy it my way)

I hear you I had to give up my CoH account to afford it...but I could also cut back on beer.... with what I drink its about the same. OTH I can make 200 million (about $15 US Go a long way)
That said, I know alot of guys who make money by manufacturing and Trade. Do some traveling, find out what the Big seller is Buy the BPO and some mins and build away. (of you make more money if you control the entire supply chain process.. but its takes money to make money.

shooting/ransoming other ppl can work. Though I find when anything comes to just making isk out of it the fun factor is lost.

I trade and am rarely bored of it. I've always got some projects rolling or ideas, trying this or that differently, trying out something else. Market is always in flux so I have to adapt, optimize, crunch numbers, try to think of something new. There are corners of market I haven't explored yet and thus these give me a long term goal to strive towards.
Some easy options of making ISK would be making ISK by just owning a character that can provide certain services - jump clones, empire POS, and alliance creation, etc. You have to provide the service, but it is easy to no work joining someone's corp or writing a few emails and you get paid for it. Try exploration and invention as well.

I buy materials in Jita, take them 2 jumps away, manufacture stuff out of them, then bring the finished products back when they're done and put them on the market.

Amen, when ever Im mining I try and get in a group, local gang banter can realy help pass the time and you might actualy start enjoying yourself!

Join the channel Eve Online Hold'Em.

Invention & trading
Every morning when I wake up I usually have like 30-50 million more in my wallet. On a good day I make 100 mil easy. If I'm lazy then all I need is maybe an hour or two to check the markets and replenish my sell orders around the regions.
Of course a little more is needed for invention and manufacturing but it takes care of itself when its get started, leaving me the rest of the day to do whatever I feel like.
When I was a noob in EVE I needed like 4-5 hours to make 20-30 mil in 0.0 from rating. Of course it wasn't good quality space but it was nice enough for me then. Now I never rat and I only run missions to pass time.
The other posters in this thread is right though. Datacores is probably the most easiest way to make isk in EVE today if you have worked up your standing with the best agents.
Anyway good luck with your effort to find alternative sources of income.

I spend about 15 minutes each day on my two alt traders and they each make about 30 - 50 mil per day right now. I just started a few months ago in the market, so that will build.
On my main, I just head for big PVP battles, and steal people's stuff, hoping not to get killed on my way out. That's how I create my adrenaline rush.

um uh um... crap I do the same stuff to make isk.. the level 4 profit rocks though since I am doing it recently but ya it gets boring fast

I know a few people who have 10-20bil for just a few months of trading. I've done very well from it
