What the hell should i do with things like:
- me0 1run bpcs of frigates and cruisers (if i buy a meX BPC and produce the item i pay less than manufacturing with a BPC me0).
- piles of SHUTTLE blueprints.
- bigger piles of SHUTTLES (if you are lucky to have a refinery at the station you can at least refine it).
Commodities can at least be sold somehow and the other things can be refined but what to do with the above mentioned ?

Now as everyone always says when you complain about a mission. JUST TURN IT DOWN! :) I like the junk it gives me something to laugh about. I have over 150 shuttles and maybe 50 frigates. Now if I could just get my homeless and slaves to fly those ships for me I would be happy.

I have been doing a lot of missions for sarum corp, I am now swamped in toxic waste, plutonium and amarr shuttles, none of which is there ANY demand for.... it really kinda sucks.

I know what you mean I put 60 odd homeless peeps in the hanger with the shuttles. But they won't take the hint! Drank all the spirits and took the drugs instead.

I know that the pirate corp Gurista likes to buy radioactive things... Plutonium too I think... Have to double check world of eve info for the buyer... just take it to whoever buys that crap (plutonium anyways) and sell it to them for close to the price the last sale was made (found on the corp info tab)

Edited by: Mandros Aslay on 28/02/2004 11:14:32 I know logic doesnt apply in Eve but :
1.The higher the agent the better the reward should be . 2.The higher the agent the lesser number of rewards there should be. 3.Agents now at least have an appreciation of "who" you are and dont slag off good work when you come back. So shouldnt they have and appreciation of the mission types you have completed. IE If I have 50% success on kill missons they might think better of offering kill missions. So those people that want to "specialise" can "specialise". 4. Maybe then add "specialist" skills" as rewards later in Level 4. So if you have always had 80% success on courier you get a reward at level 4 for a "navigation" skill that makes life easier in this field. In most cases experience makes a job either easier or quicker, can this not work in EVE.
But Yes Garbage in the level of 10,000 units is a naff reward.
Bored myself :)

It would be terribly convenient if shuttles 'suddenly' become hard to come by on the open market. ;) Isn't there a shuttle production outpost we can blow up?

I agree that it ruins the atmosphere when I have a 5.0+ rating with my agent and a decent corp rrating and I get a "who are you. do I know you?" when I run agent missions every day and I have NEVER failed one or turned one down.
Also I think that rewards should be given less frequent and better quality the better the agent gets. It would add some kind of sense of accomplishment when doing all these agent missions.

I have a good idea.... a very good miner can mine around 3mill worth of cheap ore in 1 hour, a mission runner with insta bookmarks can make around 3-4 missions in the same time, assuming those are max paid missions he gets around 800k (if he does not get an implant or some really nice item (wich rarely happens)). Ok so why not make mission running a little morelucurative... for example you are doing your 1000th mission for your caldari navy agent and when you come back he surprises you with a scorpion or a raven. And if they CANT give it to you as a gift/bonus they could let you USE a company scorp or something... In the long rune missions cant compare to mining in no way. (the situation would be better if a bs would be a reward every 1000 missions or so, after all mission runners are usualy devoted to mission running as their primary activity in EVE) Oh if only someone would listen ... :I

1 unit of Damage control, and 20k isk, (level 3 agent).
Yay, I can avoid damage to my modules...
Wait... Modules can't be damaged.
/me wonders why these items are still in the game.

Running missons for several agents, without insta-warps a decent runner can make quite a few more missions than that in an hour. When you add in the implants and other good rewards agent running can be made to pay well.
Still I wasn't cuffed with my 75mm rail BPS

I couldn't agree more - i got a bunch of crappy rewards like 10 survey scanner bp ( reward for 1 mission ) why 10 ?? why not just 1 ? or why not just skip the damn thing, i think i got over 100 survey scanner bp's simular amount of basic capacitor bp's and shuttles
and let's not forget the trade goods .. crapp.. but better than worthless bp's these bp's should atleast be modified.. like modified survey scanner bp ... but that's still crap :)

Edited by: Ruindar on 01/03/2004 19:31:26 I have to agree here. I have only raised my personal faction with the corp I do agent runs with to just under 8.0 and I am already burning out on missions... it is all one big random number generator. If I could ask for anything (other than L4 agents), it would be tighter correlation between both risk and EFFORT with reward. We all know about risk & reward (not that this is implemented well in the current system... no offense intended). But, the effort side of the equation is just all out of whack. Personally, I am considering going back to mining.
