Old Farts has resigned from the stain alliance due to a change in vision of the corporation. We have not resigned due to the actions of Curse Alliance, nor other corps we may have hostilities with, but rather due the change in the direction of the Old Farts in general.
Since November 2003, we have been in a rebuilding mode since several of our key items have been "misplaced". At this point in time, we have no desire to continue to engage in hostilities, nor provoke any new ones. We have chosen to return to our roots at the moment, primarily mining, production and manufacturing.
WeÆre now going to return back to original charter, and focus on mining, selling, manufacturing to everyone and anyone. WeÆre normally having not been a fighting corporation, and weÆre losing members now, the more we go towards a fighting corporation. Therefore as of today, we are currently closing all our bases in Stain.
To be able to be friends with everyone as a mining and manufacturing corporation we wish to offer it to all factions in Eve.
We thank all of those in the Stain Alliance who have helped us in the past, and wish everyone all the best."
It is a hard decision to come to because of loyalties felt, but at this time it seems like the right thing to do. We will miss the alliance but we feel this is what we must do.
CEO in our corporation has also changes hands, Celticjim has stepped down and is moving on and Arleqwinn has taken the position. He will be sorely missed from our corporation.

Old Farts has been and always will be a respected corporation in EVE. Good Luck with the new vision of your corporation. I am sure you will succeed in whatever or however you chose to re-align.

I'll miss the frigate hold-ups you did on the Curse-Empire routes.

Although my choice to leave OF was pretty tough..it had nothing to do with the people involved in this great group of guys and gals, but more to do with real play time.
If anyone wants to join a great group of mature players, who help each other out to the bitter end, than this is the group for you. New and old alike, you will be amazed at the amount of friendship and likability (sp?:D) that can be fostered in an online game. If you are seeking a corp, and tired of some of the same old same old, than I would wholeheartedly recommend this group to you.
I wish all of them the best and will continue to be their friends as long as my account is active.
