When is CCP going to research and install the option to reset your stats and skills option?
I can foresee this to be a huge money maker for CCP.
I have played other MMORGs that you could do this in game, costing in game gold.
I would pay alot of out of game money to be able to restat my 40 million point character. |

I think such a system only works when it's there since the beginning. Guild Wars has such a system, and it works.
But in Eve, it'll ruin (at least) the market, as anyone can mine/produce/sell/buy at perfect rates once old enough. -------------------------------------------------- I'm a rich person. How I know? I can afford to be a miner. |

if they do this i'd re-roll my character, boost my starting attributes as high as possible, train my 2 highest attribute learning skills to max, install +5s in those same attributes, spam as many SP into whichever skills get me the most SP/hour and respec for pvp after a year.

Besides the "Never going to happen", how do you imagine your idea will generate income to CCP??? That really has me dazzled.

I forsee a problem with your logic. EVE has no gold thank god! Why should the rich have one over on the poor? Bad enough it happens in RL. Or why should the people that have more playing time have it better then the weekend warriors? (ability to grind for isk) No thanks.

While I won't say this will never be a service we will offer, I think it safe to say the chances of such a service are slightly to the right of non-existent.

I have no problem with not being able to re-spec skills, you trained them, live with them. If you want other skills train them!
However it would be very nice to be able to change your basic attributes, just once. For all the players who are years old and started their main without knowing what attributes really meant.

Speaking as someone who has been playing since the Summer of 2003, I am against being able to change basic attributes.

Awesome idea. Create the ingame restat service but just dont spawn the 'gold' needed to use it. That'll annoy people.

Them doing so would destroy the feeling of realism when it comes to skill training. I think the chance of this happening is close to zero.

I'd even pay CCP to be able redistribute the SP...

kieron, I believe you've just made yourself fail with this statement .
Put it in the EULA that character "restat" mechanisms (not counting not cloning after clone death) will never be implemented. Trust me, 99% of EVE will want your babies if you do. -

Yeah ,I would delete a few skills I trained and expect CCP to give me some Loyalty! That however, is far as my hypocracy goes.
I guess this thread will dwindle down to half arse apeasements on what the OP has suggested and suggest some sort of SP potion that lasts for an hour?
This is the whole reason I enjoy EVE, is to avoid those kinds of ****ty/easymode games.
I would delete my little bit of crap in a instant.

Incorrect. The right answer is: within 2 months after getting bought by SOE.
