I have R+D going with 3 amarr agents, but I have started running missions with my 2 galante mates, doing galante missions, therefore my amarr standing is dropping.
What happens if/when my standing gets below the required for the agents?
Do I stop doing R+D with them? Do I loose my accumulated RP?

You will lose faction standing, not corporation and R&D agents require corporation standing.
Unless you go lover than -2 Ammar faction standing you should not lose the access to the agents.

an even better solution don't do the missions where you kill amarr ships.... you can run the missions just have your m8 decline the missions where amarr faction is involved, also should be noted if your serious about your RD agents your RP will decline if your faction status falls

Even better, grind standing with the corporation, not faction. Until you still have access to lvl 4 agents of the amarr corporations your researchers belong to, grind missions until your corp standing is high enough to still have access to the agents.
I have low faction status with any faction but access to almost every lvl4 agent. For research grinding the corp standing is more straightforward than the faction standing (you still need a good corp standing anyway, so you might as well add those +2.0...). Just be careful to avoid having faction standing below -2.0...

Even if the text under the agent info seem to make them available if you have only a faction standing it is not true; R&D agent require corporate standing.
With 9,06 standing with Gallente federation I don't get the top R&D agents from CreoDron, as my corporation standing is only 3,56, while I get all the other division top agents (even in CreoDron).
