ISSO is returning all IPO capital. The dividend paid today will be the final dividend paid.
Shareholders owning more than 200 shares can contact Stins for direct repayment. ISSO will maintain a buy order on RESX to buy back all other shares. Ionia also volunteered to buy back the ISSO shares. Get in touch with her to transfer your shares to isk.
Ionia is offering to take your ISSO shares in exchange for his bonds which will pay 6%. Contact Ionia to obtain these 6% bonds.

I know there are a lot of ISSO investors out there that wish to keep their isk invested in something that is generating a return, so to help facilitate this I have been talking with Stins and have decided to offer an investment that is not available for cash purchase, but it only available via trade in at this time.
[6LTD] is an investment with a 1m isk face value that will return 6% per month to investors. Investors will get ten of these shares for each [ISSO] share they wish to trade in.
Investors in ISSO wishing to take me up on this offer can either convo Stins or myself in game and we can set up the transfer.
I also have a limited amount of cash to buy back ISSO with on behalf of Stins for situations where he is not online and you are not familiar with using RESX.
Best of luck to Stins and the ISSO team in their future endeavours.

Interesting.
Any explanation for this? I'm sure shareholders would like to know why things are closing up now.

Guess they are just tired of it, making isks for people constantly day after day for over a year, these guys need a life! And running an IPO is not something I'll do in a game where I want to have fun

I am assuming this is "6 limited" run by Ionia. 6 for the percent return offered and limited for the limited nature of the offering.
Thus it is a fully Ionia managed and run operation and likely a perpetual bond offering that thus offers no details but pays 6% indefinitely.

OK its a lot of spamming by Stins, but isnt the easiest way to sort this out just to spam dividends until the capital is returned. After that the shares are just bits of paper.
I know its 14 odd dividends per 5% so about 280 dividend payments in total, which is a while by the financial manager. BUT its a one off task and sorts all the capital returning out to all shareholders efficiently high and low alike.
Surely this is much easier than tons of convos, chasing people online and messing about on RSEX or whatever it is?

I think the question that is left from your statement is this:
What happens to people who do not read this thread and do not know ISSO is no longer paying dividends? Will they just hold their worthless shares forever? If so it seems obvious why this path was chosen.

That would be the obvious, easiest and most honest way to do it. But then they'd have to refund shares to people who no longer play - rather than getting to keep their ISK. And they wouldn't get to use the capital for free until people manually reclaim their shares.

Hi,
As an independent investor without an agenda i just wanted to say a huge thankyou to Stins and his team for all the hardwork in the last year. I have transfered back my shares and received what i paid for them. All in all it was an excellent investment.
Enjoy the Kitkat Stins.

There was an email from the ISSO explaining this. However the only real buy-back option by stins/ISS was stated for blocks of 200 shares. Thats 2 billion worth!
If you have less than 2 billion, I'll say that again because to me it reads Twwwoooo BEEELEEEOOOON!!!, yes less than that much and you need to use 3rd party stuff. More messing about which as the value of the investment decreases becomes more effort for less cash returned.
I would obviously prefer the straightforward, clear, unbiased and uncorrupted way of using the ingame payment system to return payments...

Correct, I should have been clearer. This is a replacement investment offered by me for trade-in only. It is not affiliated with ISSO in any way except that you get them by trading ISSO stock in. I am not affiliated with ISSO, just offering another point on contact where you can trade your stuff in for convenience.

This buyback plan lets shareholders choose to rollover investments to Ionia.
The Ionia bonds will pay 6% for those whose priority is an income stream.
The dividend mechanism just sends cash in a loop anyway. ISSO issued 5000 shares at startup. Some 2200 or so are still in the corp wallet. The dividend mechanism payments go to all shares regardless if ISSO still holds them or not.
After the experience last year exchanging outpost shares, using the existing player created Stock Exchanges is by far the quickest way to get ISK back to the 520 shareholders.

Did you post on the wrong forum? ISSO personnel answering questions in their own threads is quite rare.
Of course it would happen after the IPO is done

there was me thinking the title was typo and was supposed to say "october dividend/update" but hey, ISS arent doing it late, they arent doing it at all. Surprising that an IPO which IIRC was stated would have nothing to do with outposts, closes after all outposts are gone.
Regardless, good luck
