Just for that Mister Ticket Master the ransom has gone up to 500 slaves, in 36 hours.

Slaver Hounds are very expensive creatures, Ms Raven. But I think that the value of Poochie far exceeds monetory value, eh Mr TM?

I somewhat horrifies me to learn that an animal is wort more money than people these days. 3000 isk for a Slaver Hound? Compared to 500 isk for slaves?
If they're not worth that much to you Amarrian's why persist in trading them? I don't get it?

Of course some slaves just arnet worth the money you pay for them you fool.
It's a mater of quality, nad as the animal you scorn is of higher quality than the slaves in genral, we place them in higher esteem than the mere dogs you fight to free.

Or rather, allow me to ask you a telling question...
Why is it that a single round of Phased Plasma costs around 7 isk, but a 250mm artillery piece costs 10,000 isk or thereabouts?
Amarrians regard slaves as necessary, but expendable. Slaver hounds aren't so expendable, because they're valued as guard dogs and status symbols.
