Triksterism Gallente Image Not Found	Posted - 2007.11.02 02:16:00 - [1] Is it just me, or is the whole "LOL GUYS CAKE IS A LIE!!!" "ZOMG <3 COMPANION CUBE 4 EVAR!!" stuff getting really old? Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Portal! It's probably one my favorite PC games of all time but recently it seems people are really killing it. A week ago I was excited to hear ValvE was to be releasing some sort of companion cube 'figure' for the holidays but now...I mean....geeze. Remember The Dave Chappelle show? It was great, packed full of funnies until people had to kill it within months, ruining all the jokes ("RICK JAMES ***!" anyone?). Yes it's getting old, but it's not ruining the game tbh. It's funny, and the game is as perfect a puzzle game as you could get, and its classicness will never fade. And in-jokes are just excuses for real humour or intelligence, so don't worry about it, it'll fade quickly amongst all but the truly stupid. Once people start making custom maps (maybe even a multi-player mode? that'd be nifty) then the game will be reborn again. But christ was it a short game, mb if they made it longer people wouldnt beat it so fast, go on the valve forum and scream THE CAKE WAS A LIE OMG!

Squeeing fanboys will always continue to squee.
