Requiescat mUfFiN fAcToRy Psychotic Tendencies. 41	Posted - 2012.01.27 16:10:00 - [1] - Quote this message paid for by the requiescat csm exploratory commission hi, i'm requiescat. let me be your csm this year, mostly because i am way better at this game than pretty much all of you a about me: i've been playing eve since late 2005 i started out pirating, and i've gone back and forth between that and 0.0 space warrioring i have been kicked out of a number of corps for various things, mostly related to me trolling too hard and/or being too huge of an ass for the leadership to deal with i'm back in lowsec again i don't have the best killboard stats in the world. neither do i have the worst i've been pvping for pretty much my entire time in eve. my main has 91k sp spent in industry and 76k in social. i fly amarr and minmatar subcaps, and amarr and gallente capitals. i am still acutely aware that shield capitals need cpu rebalancing, among other things i am an eft warrior i am honestly not a huge fan of taylor swift, but she's alright i guess things that would allegedly be on my agenda if i were csm: more people need to be in lowsec, which means there need to be truly unique incentives for being there now, that can't mean more lowsec tech moons or any resources like that, as there's no reason a large 0.0 entity can't come to lowsec and snatch those up. some sort of unique minable mineral that only spawns in lowsec, higher rewards for lowsec incursions or missions, better efficiency in manufacturing/research slots in lowsec stations? the possibilities are endless dec shields cannot be a thing. i shouldn't have to elaborate on this much. they are killing highsec war as a mode of gameplay. they were previously not allowed, now they are allowed again which is stupid. war mechanics in general need to be looked at. i know eve is a big game with a lot of emergent gameplay and that sort of thing, but too much metagaming happens in regards to wars (and it shouldn't have to!). you join a player corp to do player corp things, and maybe all that means to you is that you don't have to pay npc corp tax, but the down side is you are vulnerable to wars. you shouldn't be able to just jump ship and get away from wars like it's nothing, and likewise corp hopping shouldn't be a viable way to get kills in a war environment, and it shouldn't have to. i'm willing to listen to suggestions on this, but there has got to be a way to fix wars. incursion griefing, the way darius/krissada did it, shouldn't have had to be a thing. highsec bears have been babied far too hard by ccp. a lot of things got warnings that didn't need to have warnings. clever war mechanic exploitation shouldn't have been removed. turning off assist modules on people who become flagged is stupid. ccp has pushed griefers too far by restricting them in their methodology and has done the unthinkable in forcing griefers who want to grief incursions, to actually run the incursions. not cool. supercaps in large numbers are in pretty good shape, but supercaps in small numbers are still pretty broken. using one or a handful of supers or titans shouldn't be just a case of "lol i hotdropped the everliving goddamn out of you," there should be repercussions for using any capital ship without a proper support fleet. it shouldn't be possible to put a titan 100k from a battleship fleet and lay waste, knowing they can't possibly tackle you. it shouldn't be possible to throw around three or four supercarriers in lowsec knowing no one is going to have hero dictors to tackle you with, and your heavy neuts and your tiny support fleet are going to take care of any hictors that manage to get a point. this especially applies to lowsec supercaps, but even in 0.0 supercaps are way too unassailable in small numbers and in unexpected encounters. colors need to come back to the forums i miss them i have opinions on lots of crap but this is just the stuff that was on my mind. feel free to ask for my position on whatever.
