what distance is safe to warp in to a gate where a Large T2 static bubble is placed? 100km frome gate 200km? 300km?

If you warp to the same grid that a bubble exists, you get sucked into the bubble...
That's my understanding of it.

that was my first thought aswell... but i dont think that is correct. why have medium, small, large t1 and t2 bubbles. not only for the size to cover a bigger area.
i have done warp in¦s where i end up outside the bubble and not get effected by any "suck in" thingis.
so the question is what is the rule over this?

No, you have to be warping in on a line aligned with the bubble, and the point where your warp ends has to be within (I think) 200 km of the bubble to be caught by it. I'm not 100% sure on the actual distance, but you most definitely have to be warping in on a line aligned with the bubble to get caught and you have to be within a set distance.

so what is the reason when ppl place a bubble behind the gate so it is...
Gate-------Gate--Bubble What will that catch?
Or what will this catch? Gate-------Bubble--Gate
And if i want to avoid the bubble, can i warp frome a belt behind the gate? Like this; Gate-------Bubble--Gate-----Belt(where i warp frome to closest gate).

It does not matter where you put the bubble, just as long as you have it in line with a point you expect pilots to warp from. The bubble will suck them in, and not allow the pilot to warp out until they clear the bubble.
Dictor bubbles work on the same principal but lasts for a limited time and you do not have to anchor them.
It appears to me you are trying to sneak into 0.0 and dodge the gate campers. Bubbles are one thing, but thats not the only thing you have to worry about. A good 0.0 gate camp will nuke your butt whether you avoid the static bubbles or not.

Is there a guide to using warp bubbles somewhere? I'd say no, people aren't likely to let everyone know how to avoid their bubble camps or how to use them well... against them. Probably the only way to really find the answers you're looking for is to play around with one.

spend a little bit of time with any 0.0 entity, and you should find out everything you need to know about bubbles.

You put them behind a gate so that anyone sucked in has to turn around if they want to try to run for the gate. This gives you more time to shoot them.
In my experience if you warp to a bubbled gate at 250km you won't get sucked in. The exact distance may be slightly smaller.

If your warp point is inside the bubble's area of effect you end up in the bubble regardless of how far you've selected to that point. Example: You suspect a gate has a bubble on it, so decide to warp in at 100, selecting the gate as your warp target. You land within the bubble, or generally rather close to the edge of it.
BUT - if your bookmark is 100km from the gate and you warp to it at any range you land where you want, since your BM is not inside the bubble's radius.

cool some answers did come out.
meaning that i can have a set of bookmarks to every gate at 200+km frome the gate. ill still end up in the same grid but wont be sucked into the posseble bubble close to the gate seince i am not warping to something that is inside the bubbles area of effect.
