Can the LCO's be blown up and howw do you know what faction they belong to?

I think he means large collidable object, like structures in missions.
If you 'show info' on it and it says 'wanted', you can shoot it.

Yes I meant Large Collidable Object. Some of them say LCO-Habitation Module and when you lock them and attempt to fire a message pops up that says something to the effect that you will lose faction if you destroy this object ... Do you want to proceed? Can those be blown up and how do you know what faction they are from?

Check out the mission guides to see which ones are worth shooting. Some have loot, otheres are a waste of ammo.

A good guide on what can be shot is to just look at the info of the object. If it's got red text and shows a bounty, it's likely fair game. However, I've yet to find anything worth shooting at in L1 and L2 missions, except for that warehouse mission where you specifically have to blow up structures. Even then, you don't get much except some ammo and some tradeable crud.

Just make sure that any object you decide to start blasting away at has a "Wanted" tag on it, otherwise, you'll get a security standings loss and a visit from your not-so-friendly neighborhood CONCORD officer.
