Do not drop the cat sideways as the opposing forces will more than likely cancel each other out causing harm to the animal as it hits the ground on its side. Also, be very careful in attempting to stop the cat's rotation as the cat will build up a significant static electricity charge as its fur passes through the air. Rubber soled shoes and rubber gloves are recommended as a minimum safety measure. But you should try and ground the cat before attempting to stop its spin. -- Remember: Carebears aren't people. They are giant flying pi±atas.
