I am a Minmatar combat pilot hoping to make my home in Caldari space, but I want to know if I'll find the gear I use there. Will I be able to find projectile turrets, Minmatar ships, armor tanking gear, and modules related to those sort of things in Caldari space, or will I have to make shopping trips over to Heimatar to pick those things up?

Considering that Jita is in Caldari space... I'd say yes.

You will have a harder time finding minmatar combat gear in minmatar space then finding [whatever] in Jita.

You will be O.K. because as they say "all space lanes lead to Jita". Everything is sold in Jita and in my experiance it is often cheaper doesn't matter what it is, take Morphite for example currently being sold in low sec and 0.0 @ about 10k a pcs (where it can be mined). Yet you go to Jita and it is 8k a pcs(where it cant be mined). So them people in Jita ganking frieghters are not doing a good enough job imo

Aside from Jita, the mission hubs in both Lonetrek and Citadel are well stocked with goods for all races. In particular, you might want to try out the Motsu valley area, despite heavy claims of lag (I've never had a problem there but I only ever pass through).

Thank you for the answers. It's good to know where the trade is to be found. I hope this might be a possible spark in a good relationship with the Traders of New Eden. For where money gathers, so do soldiers.

The L4 drone mission alloy reprocessing, the import from the drone regions, etc.
