I am creating a Research/Building Alt. He/She would be able to:
Research (all Science skills) Build (1/4 of Industrial skills) Trading (all Trade skills) Fly a Freighter BUT, he is not mining
What's the most fitting attribute for this character? i know i need high intelligence+memery, but how about Chrisma for Trading? How about perception+willpower for freighters? thanks in advance Bamarrian

Wel, my guess is to get the primary and secondary attr. of the skill group you are going to train most as high as possible, alas int/mem in your case.
I'm guessing the time you will save by training the skills requiring those attributes will cover up for the lack of the other ones. But i'm sure there is a race which will have some of the skills you are looking for pre-trained.
I'm still pretty new around here so i can't point you somewhere to have a better look but i think there is a char creation planner lying around somewhere in these forums. I'll get back to you if i manage to find it

The best way to find the perfect attribute point spread is to utilize EVEMon. First make a plan for you character. Plug in all the skills you would want to train - the more close this plan to what you are really going to train, the more accurate the result will be. Note how long it will take you to train this plan.
Next edit the xml file of character and edit its attributes. Upload to EVEMon. See how long it will take you to train with new attributes. After you repeat this a few times you'll find a combination of attributes that will work the best for your plan.

And just an idea, any skill planner allows me to change the attributs? it would be easier for us.

I open it perfectly fine with notepad. Have no idea what other skill planners can do. I assume any require upload of the xml file which you have to first save to desktop on your computer so you should be able to do this with any planner.

The way i do it is I delete the character already loaded into EVEMon. Then upload it again from file I changed with notepad and it works. If you're doing this already I do not know what could be wrong.
