Good afternoon.
My name is Industrial Character, and other than showing off my awesome name, I am opening up a 1Bil ISK Bond for 2 months, at 10%. This will be broken into 100mil Segments.
It seems all the new Bonds that are created seem to go about this rate, and seems fair reading feedback from other Bonds.
About Me:
I've been interested in playing Eve for a long time, however timing in RL hasn't been conducive for me to get as into this game as I'd like. After getting back from my last deployment and moving across the country twice, I am now in a very stable and well paying career. I've run a lot of research and math, and gotten help from a lot of friendly people in game, and while I could pay for this venture in GTC's, I'm confident that I can avoid that and make this account self reliant.
My Goal:
Once the Bond is filled, I will be buying a small POS, with some Labs, and start running invention jobs. This will supplement my current PI and T1 production, hopefully replacing both of these all together.
Business Plan:
Initial Investment - 1 Bil ISK from public Bond at 10%.
-1 Caldari Small POS.
-2 Labs (1 basic, 1 advanced).
-2 Weeks Fuel (rest of fuel will be paid for by profits).
-Materials for building T2 items.
Over 2 months, I will be issuing out interest on the 1st of each month (First payment Mar 1, Final payment Apr 2 to avoid April 1 jokes).
With a final payout of 1.2Bil, I will be paying 600 mil on each pay day. This will mean my profits will be lower on the first 2 months, however repayment should be a lot faster for my investors.
Since I have lowballed my profit margins, it may be possible to repay faster, and if possible, I will make every attempt to do so.
Finalization of the Bond:
April 2nd, all investments plus interest will be paid back and the Bond will be closed successfully.
If, under some unforeseen circumstance, this Bond is not successful, I will liquidate as much as possible and purchase GTC's to make up any shortcomings.

Without wanting to put words in Ruvin's mouth one would guess he is alluding to the fact that in Eve the default position is scam; in the abscence of any information one will naturally assume scam. Your posting char has no history to go on, you offer no typically asked for info to allay such fears, such as API keys, alt chars, proof of business dealings, proof of skills required to do what you suggest you'll do, or a post history so as to attempt to ascertain character - as such we have no info to go on, and as previously highlighted, in the abscence of information the default position is scam.

In short, thus far, you've done nothing more to establish a legitimate operation than isk doublers in Jita. This is not to say you are a scammer but just that with the abscence of information people naturally conclude you may well be.
Would suggest at the very least a full disclosure of alts, perhaps an Eveboard link to prove your invention skills, release of API (customisable API if necessary) to third party for at least a cursory verification of alts and the previous T1 and PI activities you claim. |

Thank you for the heads up on this.
SPQRMocton is not one of my alts, I have no alts, however I have been thinking of making an alt to check market prices in other reasons. SPQRMocton is someone I have met in Eve that has offered to help me out by building a corp for me with standings so I can put a POS in highsec.
I will figure out how to put up a link to my skills and post that shortly.
Is there anything else I can do to help my reputation at this point? Or will it be more along the lines of, built over time? |

Naturally I cannot suggest the above to be a definitive "do this and you'll get 1 billion iskicles" list, merely an absolute minimum before *many* will even begin to consider. |

I have no idea who any of the people investing in my Bond are.
If you are trying to allude that I am posting with some alts, and giving myself 100's of millions of ISK, to try and scam a few hundred more... when I can simply buy a plex or two, and make more with less effort... I do not understand your reasoning.
If you would like to invest, please send the ISK to me, I will add your name to the shares list, and pay out interest on the appointed dates. If not, please stop trolling my thread, thank you. |

No, that name is not familiar with me, and if you would kindly stop trolling, I would be appreciative.
So far, 2 investors have stepped up, with 7 more shares left. Using my T1 production and PI profits, I have purchased and set up a Control Tower today. I would still like to raise the remaining funds requested to populate the tower with labs and materials to make T2 items. |

I was able to make more than expected, and am able to pay out the full 2 months dividends earlier than expected.
Thank you again for all of the support of my investors. Thank you for taking a chance with a new player and not succumbing to the popular "everyone is a scammer" attitude. With your help, I have been able to start my industrial empire, and am having a lot of fun playing Eve.
I've been able to learn a lot about the interactions with players in Eve, learned that even highsec isn't a for sure safe place, and lowsec isn't as scary as people make it out to be. I've learned that market pvp can get your blood pumping, and how cut throat people can be over 1 isk.
Here's to a long career and many more experiences to come. Thank you again.
