I was in the Seil ice fields killing 3 rats with my battleship when concord warps in and blows me up. All i did was lock onto the 3 rats and send my drones in, i didn't use a smartbomb or anything. then i go back to the station to get my industrial ship lvl 5 to get all the stuff from my battleship and salvage what i could and then the station blows that up, so now i am stuck in my station not wanting to lose another ship till i find out what the hell happened. So if a gm could contact my in game pls i really would like my ships back that i worked so hard to get.

You lost your second ship because you didn't wait out your aggro timer.
You lost your first ship (most likely) because of something you did.

When you do something criminal, you become criminally flagged for 15 minutes. This is visible at the top left corner of your screen. During that 15 minutes, CONCORD and gate/station guns will attack you. Next time wait out your timer before undocking in a new ship.
As for why you may have gotten criminally flagged to begin with, your best option is to check your logs to see what might have happened. Also, if you believe it was a bug due to a log search not turning up anything, you need to petition it, posting here does nothing, if a GM bothers to answer at all it will only be to say "please petition this".

I wasn't able to check my logs when this happened it was just blank, and no i didn't use my smart bomb or any wep on my ship, i only had just sent my drones when they took me out. I have also waited for the timer to go away and the station still attacks me so now i am in the middle of space in my battlecrusier not able to go to any gate or station cause it says it is a dangerous place.

Most likely, you accidentally sent one of your Repair Drones to an NPC pirate. Aiding an NPC criminal (or player criminal for that matter) with any kind of beneficial module/drone is a CONCORD offense.

Just tested this, no, asteroids are NOT concord protected.
However, to the OP, you did have a smartbomb fitted. It's all too easy to hit the wrong F-key and set off your smartbomb and hit something that *is* concorde protected (another player? Another player's secure can? All sorts of things).
This is why you should never use smartbombs in empire.
Check your logs and if you really can't find anything in there to indicate what caused the CONCORDOKKENING then petition it, but reimbursement petitions take many weeks to answer and only a tiny, tiny fraction of them are granted, so don't hold your breath.

Honestly, I think CCP must change the name Smartbomb to Stupidbomb. Smartbombs aren't that smart in the game. :(
If smartbombs are smart, they would only kill war targets in high secs and anyone elsewhere. :)

Ok for one my hand was never near any keys to make a smart bomb go off and second i only had my combat drones out. Also if i used my smart bomb how did it get on the list of stuff destroyed.

When you use a smartbomb, it doesnt get 'destroyed' after the first use, so you can use them multiple times.

The stuff that gets destroyed is random.
The logs are saved under your "C:\Documents and Settings\"yourname"\My Documents\EVE\logs\Gamelogs"
But the logs will probably show nothing related to drones...

Cocord does indeed have some stupid bugs, Yesterday a corp mate was attacked by concord 2 times in a timespan of a few hours. And he was doing absolutely NOTHING one on ocasion and was attackign a war target on the second.
Logs shown not a single line referencing any ship other than the war target.
I heard quite a few peopel complainof that too. Concord DOES have some bugs.

Its sad to see you go, we need newish players like you who just play the game for fun.
I assume you are newish as your Domi didnt have much T2 on it so if you are an old player than I apologize.
Anyhow, hopefully CCP will reply to you within the 28 days you have left.
My guess is with the drones, drones have for a long time had issues, they oddly make their own decitions, go off and aggro additional groups in missions and so on, I love drones but I have found myself using them less and less due to the problems with them.
I have not yet lost a ship to concord due to them but I have lost ships to other dangers because of drones.

You see this is something CCP really needs to wake up to. Bugs, stupid game mechanics and poor customer service lose players like *that* (/snaps fingers). It's a competitive world out there and there's plenty of other places for people to spend their time and money.
Viper - I know how frustrating this kind of thing can be, but one thing I will say about EVE is that every loss endured, every hardship overcome and every frustration dealt with will make you a stronger player and a more valuable asset if you decide to stick it out and join the pvp/corp ranks.

You have to take responsibility for making the mistake and not knowing the game mechanics. Because in a months time you'll make another mistake and quit and that'll be even more of your free time wasted on a game you're not going to play for long.

If you accidentally locked another players wreck and sent your drones to kill it, that would get you CONCORDed.
I've also never had a problem with concord that I didn't cause. You are most likely remembering something a little wrong.

No bug here, I think we can be 100% sure the OP accidentally sent his repair drones on the rats.
So I'm sorry to say, CCP won't be reimbursing your losses, but I agree losing a BS and Indy over such a small mistake is way over the top.

I've accidentally attacked asteroids dozens of times in the past with no trouble from CONCORD at all. I don't know for a fact, but I can't imagine smart bombs would somehow trigger them to come when guns don't. Maybe there was a player canister or something around you accidentally hit?

If there was another PC ship in the field and it targeted you, your drones may have gone after it resulting in a Concording. I've heard of this happening and it's a form or griefing.

makes me wonder, why do you have a repair drone while ratting in a battleship in Empire? did you have gangmates as a backup in case the rats shot back?

You say you didn't use a smartbomb, but there's one in your lossmail. SBing asteroids doesn't summon concord, but SBing cans belonging to a player not of your corp, does.
Using rep drones on rats will also summon Concord, AFAIK. If CCP's logs show either of these two (or possibly something else, shooting/attacking/SBing a wreck belonging to player outside your corp), then you will not recover your battleship.
In any case, did you not have it insured? Empire may be safe(ish), but it's for moments JUST LIKE THIS that one should insure T1 ships.
Lastly, threatening to quit over things like this is juvenile and the equivalent of a five year old's tempertantrum. You can scream all you want, it won't change CCP's minds about their decision. Suck it up, learn from your mistake, and move on. I've had more battleships shot out from under me than I can anymore remember. It's part of the game. If you don't like it, clearly this isn't the game for you.

I thought a smart bomb was a one time use cause a friend kept telling me this everytime i asked him about them, i did not use one there and still have never used one before. I took my battleship out there cause i fitted it with some new power drains i have never used before and wanted to test them, i locked on the rats brought out my combat drones sent them out then all of a sudden i get blown up and then i see concord and i see nothing in my logs at that time.

1. Would it be possible that you sent your repair drone at the rats along with the combat drones, or that you accidently turned on a smartbomb (either by pressing it directly or hitting one of the f buttons) without noticing?
2. If you don't even know how a smartbomb works, or how aggression works for that matter (considering how you undocked right away with your second ship), why are you flying battleships? You should be flying cruisers at the most at this stage in the game. Preferably frigates.

I have never been a criminal before, my friends always stay in .6 and higher for some reason so i have never had this this happen before. It's not like this is my first time playing, i have had this account for close to a year,and no it is not a ebay account i made it and how many times do i need to say it i didn't have my hand on my keys for my weapons i had just sent my drones out which if it was a repair drone that did it i don't see how cause i have custom groups for my drones so i sent out only my combat drones not the repair ones.

I have more then a battleship i just wanted to test this stuff i know it is overkill haveing it in area like that i was just there to test to new heavy drains i got, i normally fly my frigate to kill rats and i have a battlecruiser too which even after all the countdowns were done i was still attacked by the station and barely warped away with my battlecrusier.

I don't really see how to play this game all you do is set a skill and either mine or kill rats so most of the time i will set a long skill cancel my game and come back later.

OK alot of you have no clue about smartbombs.
Smartbombs do not affect:
- Asteroids
- Player Cans
- Player Wrecks
- NPC Cans
- NPC Wrecks
- Warp in beacons
- Stations*
- Jump Gates*
*It is impossible to activate ( ship wont let you fire it )
Smartbombs do affect:
- Player Ships
- Large Collidable structures
The only thing I'm not sure of is Large Colliable Objects ( != Colliable structures ) such as Neutral LCO structures, accleration gates, asteroid colonies.

1. Join a reasonable corp, get out of high sec and start actually playing this game.
or

Id have to support the accidental use of repair drones on belt rats myself. I belive the players details and if he says he didnt activate any high slots, then well we are left with the repair drone option as the trigger.

Ever heard of this great PvP game called EvE-Online? It's something about people flying internet spaceships blowing each other up for fun... You should try this game once in a while, since it comes free with subscription to these forums anyways

I'm going to go with a mistake i made once... did you have a sensor booster fitted? if so was it a REMOTE sensor booster? also ratting in empire with a battleship is FTL unless you are looting and salvaging while killing with said BS

Well using drones in Empire inevitably ends up with you being CONCORDED.
No, seriously.
CCP won't have it that there is bugs. But there is.
I like to think of it as a tax on drone usage, since they're overpowered. (aww you don't agree? I suppose they're getting nerfed for no reason at all.)
No actually I like to think of it as not just one, but as somewhere between three and eight bugs holding hands.
But to suggest that Eve has bugs makes you a bad person, worthy of Veteran Playerbase Scorn.
