Switching ammo is broken. Ships turning into cloaked harbi or harbi/canes is pretty much crap.
Should probably be in Issues section. |

Confirming switching ammo isn't working properly. Trying to gives me this message: 20:03:47 Info The Projectile Ammo cannot be fitted. I was attempting to switch from RF Phased Plasma S to Hail S in a Wolf w/ 150mm autos in space. From other people who've mentioned this, Hail ammo might be the source of the problem, can I get a confirmation on this? |

"Ship Type: Out of pod"
That's rather annoying. I want to know my active ship. Something like "Ship Type: Raven ("Missile Boat" : disembarked)" would be better (albeit verbose). |

I have the same issue, though not every time, when switching from Antimatter to Iron (Hybrid Large Rails) |

Any chance you might divert some of the coders onto fixing these bugs instead of having them writing code to remove creases from Nex store trousers? |

Feedback: It is very annoying to continually deal with inane and sometimes game-breaking bugs such as the off-line modules-upon-undock or the cargo hold's multitude of unexpected behaviors.
I expect these obvious game play issues to be addressed before a version is released for public consumption. I understand that expectation is not realistic with CCP and its terrible track record with bug-prone releases. Still, the expectation is there.
I am curious what expectation is set internally within CCP regarding known bugs, their severity rating and their impact on release dates.
Lastly, how CCP expects its customers to want to invite friends and family to play a game with such glaring errors is beyond me. |

Yasumoto: You've clearly never worked in a development environment. Nothing anyone ever makes is perfect and there will also be bugs in it. Occasionally, while fixing another bag, you inadvertently cause other ones, and your testing does not always reveal what happened, or that there's a bug there at all.
EVE is a giant game, and any change could potentially break anything. Grow up and stop throwing a hissy fit because you can't change ammo. I can't even connect to Tranq, so you should feel lucky. |

I've had issues with ammo. What shows on the fitting screen differs from the HUD. I have seen unloaded in one, and loaded on the other, and just the wrong ammo at times. I've also had the messages saying that it can't load the ammo and found that its been loaded anyway.

There is no section to post on any "technical" or even "feedback" issues with this "new forum" interface using EVE Gate.
So I'll post it here as feedback:
The EVE Gate interface is not obeying the 6000 maximum "characters remaining". In fact, a post I had placed in issues still had characters "remaining" yet when I attempted to post it, it proclaimed "Your message has exceeded the maximum characters. Please shorten your post."
What's the point of having a countdown of "remaining characters" if it doesn't matter? Example of this is in the Issues thread which I had to cut 1/4th off in order to post it, and then follow up with a "part 2". Feels like a waste of extra space (that theoretically exists, according to EVE Gate's countdown.)

My feedback on Incarna 1.1:
Quote:Statement on behalf of CCP from Arnar Hrafn Gylfason, Senior Producer for EVE Online. Good communication and trust between CCP and the EVE community has always been a fundamental priority for CCP and will continue to be so. That's a quote from the 'Accord reached at ccp's special summit'-dev blog written two months ago. Sounds rather official, almost pompous. CCP Zulu is even using his real name, so these words must be really, really true and really, really profound.
So, I beg you, communicate with the people posting in this thread and the issues thread in the same subforum, communication is not a one-way street. I'm appealing to your 'fundamental priority' and will continue to do so.
I'm afraid there won't be any client patch/bug fix/whatever until the next expansion. Other people have posted incredibly long and detailed bug reports and got absolutely no reply whatsoever. That's bad communication and violates the trust between CCP and some members of the EVE community. All your fundamental priority alarm bells should be ringing by now.
Please live up to your lofty words in that dev blog, and post some kind of reply here or in the issues thread.
tl;dr: HELLOOOO?? ANY CCP GUY/GAL OUT THERE????

The apparent lack of replies to this thread only means that the players know they aren't being listened to. Why give feedback when you will only be ignored. The lack of posts in the current issues thread is simply because we're tired of typing the same things month after month, patch after patch. I'm glad the company has decided they want more new players, god knows I love killing them all but how can a game that's aim is immersion really immerse anything when you have so many bugs smacking the windscreen in every facet of the game? I spend more time working around the heaps of fail that get released without any form of testing whatsoever than I do actually enjoying this game. So many bugs are let slip under the radar for the most part because not many people actually notice the subtle differences and changes that happen after every major expansion, but just because no one notices doesn't mean it's not a bug or that it shouldn't be fixed. I'm sure the developer that made sure that bookmarks in the solar system map were never obscured by beacons and other things and that the bookmarks displayed their distance in AU from your ship was proud of his/her work. I'm also sure it must displease this developer that these things are now broken, his/her hard work wasted to a non-existent quality assurance department. I don't know if the developers are forced by upper management to roll out expansions and patches before they are fully functional and properly tested or if they're just that incompetent at what they do, I hope it's the former. In the past three or more issues threads I have diligently posted all the subtle changes and HUGE IN YOUR FACE BUGS that I can actually remember, the list is so large in fact that my memory actually fails me a times as I need that space to remember things like math. However I have never once received a reply from any member of CCP to assure me that I am not crazy or simply misinformed on how something should be working even though you're apparently committed to better communication with your customers. The trend is that any bugs that don't make the game impossible to play without GREAT annoyance are simply ignored. Any bug having anything to do with CQ is instantly replied to, the customer coddled by a CCP employee and assured that it's a known issue. Big issues that however effect the game play greatly such as drone AI being completely bugged is ignored, never once has a CCP employee commented on the affair of drones and it's quite infuriating. If the wrinkles don't get ironed out of this game before you keep heaping on more and more worthless "improvements" then I'm afraid it will implode and the eve universe will be a thing you will only be able to read about on forgotten blogs and watch on ancient youtube videos. I consider the lack of a response to not a single one of my posts on this forum an insult, a complete lack of care. The players of eve are what makes the company that is CCP possible in this downward spiraling economy, perhaps you would do well to make a concerted effort to reply to each and every post in your issues threads, of course not the ones where people are simply venting their understandable frustrations upon you but the ones who are trying to communicate their issues and concerns. |

My bad, I assumed when I got the email solicitations to come back and 'try out eve' in conjunction with the Incarna release that "walking around in stations" meant actually walking around in the stations. Instead, I'm locked in a ****** ass room like some red headed stepchild who crapped the bed and is grounded. Incidentally I didn't come back to the game because of Incarna, I was just gone long enough to forget about crap like this.
Anyway, thanks for allowing me to walk around my hangar bay. I thoroughly enjoy my graphics cards overheating, the randomly offlined modules (waiting for 95% capacitor in an Orca to online 5 different mods in a safespot in .3 space is super fun) and being duped into thinking walking around in stations included... the station.
If someone knows of the official release date for the full implementation of this.. ongoing project please let me know so I can ^2 it and be about half way to the real date. |

No promises that your modules will remain online, mind you.
Even after the deployment of Incarna 1.1.1, I have experienced the occasional offlined module. This time, I was docked and was working in the fitting UI. For some reason a module was fit up to the ship offline (and there was adequate CPU and PG!) .
