ppiice	Posted - 2007.11.04 21:31:00 - [1] My ship dispeared, and I have not been able to log into the game since, its been almost 10 minutes now :( i quit the game, logged back on, reset my pc, logged back in, left it there now, for going on close to 10 minutes now, im sad :( what the heck...why not just say "please dont jump to jita at this time, retireve your items later" i mean, i know its bad, but why cant they warn me, now my game time is all messed up, why cant they tell us when we can goto jita, ?? what can I do??i want to play, i dont have much time, i really need to adjust my skill learning before i have to log for the day...this is just not cool :( how can I reset to my home base or whatever, out of jita, wihtout being able to log in??

No one gets out that goes in for several hours or until the system crashes (disconnecting all the market alts who have been afk since the server came up but are lagging it to hell nonetheless). It's fairly safe to say that one should NEVER go to jita on the weekend as it's fairly likely that you'll become stuck for the remainder of the day. There's actually a ton of threads just like this that pop up every weekend.

ppiice	Posted - 2007.11.04 21:37:00 - [10] ok, well before we get started on some kind of "im leet your not" rant please, ive been playing for hardly a month...I have NEVER been to jita, but for one time I had to jump through it for a mission..it qas quick, painful, but possible i have never posted here, i have never read any post here, i tend to avoid forums on games i have only played for a month...kinda pointless since half the post usually make you want to quit a game before you ever get around to having fun in it. now, on to what matters, rather than sit there and point fingers and make fun, can you tell me the solution? i guess someone mentioned, if somoene logged out in jita, how do they get on their charecter? what is the solution? instead of assuming ive been cruising these boards, EVER, or playing for years and been to jita multiple times a day for the last 50 weeks, lets assume, im actually on fo the few, new players, who just got screwed, not knowing this happens all the time.. lets assume that, and maybe, maybe, throw me some help...if there is any at all? a way to hard reset my ships location...anything? i am not here to troll, im here for some honest help, if there is any to be offered

Even Fridays and Thursdays it can get quite laggy during this time. If you need to buy something there try to do it on a weekday, Mon-Wed are best. And if you get stuck just go to the forum and file a petition about it and they'll move you out.

People don't like other people stating the obvious. As for the solution: File a stuck petitions (get treated with the highest priority so you'll get a response in about an hour) and realize that you take a big risk of getting stuck if you warp into Jita when its population is above 800 people (check active people in system on the starmap). Oh, and kudos for realizing you only go to Jita to pick up or drop off stuff. If more people warped out the moment they finished whatever business required them to stay in system(although i agree that remote trading could use some beefing up to facilitate that), it would be less of a lag fest.
