Could you please add in a hotfix so that there is a refine in the right click options of items. Reprocessing things for people takes forever. Specially when they have 100+ units of junk. Being able to select all and refine would be a great improvement.

Aye, this would be cool.
An alternative would be to have some kind of recycler, and a button on it to recycle the contents. Then people can just dump their stuff in your recycler and you recycle and the mins are dumped back in the recycler, this way seperation is easy.

The only problem, though, would be a slowdown in the servers response on the 'calculation' of what the mins would be, but it would be a LOT faster IMHO than single refining each item. It ain't over till the fat lady falls on ya!

Another alternative: Put a tickable box behind every item in the list of refinable things you get when you open the Reprocessing function in a station. Then add a "Refine" button on the bottom of that list, which melts every item you have ticked and gives you the total mineral quotes.

Seriously, it's a needed feature. The 'recycle bin' thingy sounds really good, it could be made into another hangar like 'Ships' and 'Items'. To prevent someone from accidentally melting important stuff the procedure could go something like this:
1) Drag useless junk to 'Recycle Bin' 2) Open Reprocessplant window 3) Click on the Scrapmetal reprocess tab (reprocess divided into 'Ore reprocess' and 'Scrapmetal recycle' tabs for clarity) 4) You're given a list of items, and their quantities, in your 'Recycle Bin' hangar 5) Click 'Recycle' and it melts the items and puts the ore into you 'Items' hangar
That should make it atleast somewhat faster, and because you have to move every item you want to recycle you're less likely to recycle something you didn't mean to.
Sorry if it's a mess, I wrote it in a hurry.

Of all the options, I like this one the most. Adding "Recycle" on right-click to items would be a BAD thing as many would accidently recycle their tempest. Making people activly check boxes in the reprocessing window would eliminate mistakes, especially if they would have that window pop up confirming if you want to reprocess x, y and z items.

Agreed. Really hope this gets implemented as I haven't reprocessed any of my ships...yet...

This would be cool... it already helps that you can refine from the items window... scrapmetal reprocessing is just an extension I would have thought.
