Lo KeTral	Posted - 2007.11.05 19:22:00 - [1] Okay, this question may be already asked, but I didn`t see it in any title. I`m sick of renting an office only to have at the last moment, impounded items. Is there a way to auto pay this rental fee? I`ve been testing this out, 3 times in a row down to the second, I`ll open my corp hanger/office and it`ll alert me that everything has been impounded. I`m now considering just getting a ton of Cargo containers just to store all my items, it seems way easier because no matter what. I can be assured that I will ALWAYS seem to have to pay an un-impound fee at the end of every month EVERY TIME. If anyone here knows something I don`t (and I`m positive that there are), please help.

So, effectively its just 1 month. Apart from refilling that damn POS every other week this office rental bill is the one thing that really annoys me in eve. Sometimes i just don't want to look into eve for a while. The Pos just stops, i online it to resume everything. Its way more work with the corp office. Right now, i have perhaps 60 BPOs i have to move from the "Ammunition" section back to the damn "Research" section. Since every BPO is locked, i have to unlock, wait, move, lock every single damn BPO. That is so NOT my idea of having fun while playing. As long as theres enough money on the corp wallet, those damn office rental bills should be auto-payed as long as those offices are not canceled. Regards, Fliewatuet --

Alora Venoda Caldari GalTech Giant Space Amoeba	Posted - 2007.11.05 23:18:00 - [10] good grief... sounds like you need to login more often. or at least check your evemail, assuming you have the correct roles to receive them. yes, a POS is like a hungry baby always needing his bottle... like once a week. seriously, if you check it regularly and always reload it with enough fuel for two weeks, you will never have to worry about it going offline. station rent... can't be arsed to login and click "pay bill" for over 2 months? you aren't saving any ISK by waiting till the last minute either. by paying right when you get the bill you are a whole month ahead of the deadline, instead of being right on the edge. just like a magazine subscription, you will probably get the next month's bill 5 days after having sent the previous one at the last minute. the billing cycle date is based on when the station was rented, not when you payed your last bill. ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless. Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application.

I get all my other evemails. I thought it was odd that I never got one. I will check on my settings. I have all roles for myself checked, I just thought this was odd. Why do people play Amarr? Because unlike the other races, Amarr characters are much more difficult to play.

What would make it even better is that I could pay for your impounded stuff and get it myself, that would enable us to make a new profession as impound care-takers imo I don't see any problem with the current path, you got a month to pay a bill plus you get a mail (if you have the roles) when a new bill is due - more than enough time to pay I think. With auto, it would auto withdraw ISK on the time it is due kinda, imagine the whines then when it tries to autopay but there isn't enough ISK in the corp wallet to pay it... So we'd be stuck with a manual action either way. Secure 3rd party service .
