If you watch the videos on the site here, they talk about the ablility to change the look of the character when you get implants and such.. I would like to update my character look once in-awhile.. Maybe some simple things like the pose, background and lighting.. I would just be happy with that at the moment..
Hopefully they will place this in the game..

I remember in Alpha when you could have lots of stuff on your face..
For example, if you look at the images @ the top right of this site, the male has some sort of biomechanical cover over his eye..
Bloodspots, etc..

I would rather them spend time figuring out important stuff like why you have to dump and refresh your cache once a week to get the damn game to run.

doh everyone have problems with that. Trimmed my cache by 1.8 gig yesterday.

I checked my cache yesterday, there were files in there from July. Never stopped me playing...

I havent cleaned out my cache since about ooh let me think, the 2nd or 3 mini patch.
If the game is crashing out that much I would say you got some other problem, tried the latest video and sound drivers?
As for changing your characters appearance, maybe there should be a platic surgeon option at some stations so you could re-sculpt your features and maybe make yourself slightly less visualy offensive

I have never had a problem with the game and the cache folder.. Mine is sitting at 150megs and I have not cleared it once.. How are people getting to over a gig??
So waiting for something like them fixing the cache is not going to be a priority since the people using the client are the ones that are generating the portraits.. (this is where most of my cache is taking space)..
The portraits are generated from the game when it receives the small packet describing the character you are looking at.. That is why there is a pause.. Also depending on the settings of your video card you will see portraits looking sharper or fuzzier than others..
Anyhoo, back to I want to change my looks..

Yes I agree...you do need some help on your appearence. You are close to Playboy material...but you should probably see a por.. um .. photographer next time you decide to take a picture.
