Let me show you a little screenshot of your handiwork in CAOD for the last week. While that forum usually is an unreadably **** forum full of propaganda, chest beating, and about 5% nutritional, informative content, itÆs become utterly unreadable of the last week or so, as bored Goons (with their own forums down) have decided oh what the hell, letÆs spam the everliving ** out of it to satisfy four year old senses of humor. This random image from CAOD should pretty much say it all snip Please do not post images directly - Valorem This illustrates an serious point of contention I have with the entire goon mentality. æ** everyone else, we want our fun, and we donÆt care if we look like goddamned idiotsÆ. Well, good for you. Except youÆre crimping into other peopleÆs usage of game features, like the forums, which are there for discussion about the game. It is NOT about listening to 4995 developmentally stunted monkey-children trying to mimic the genuine 5 goons who are actually funny. Want to know where decent goons are? Scrapheap Challenge, because idiots their get their asses properly fried, which gutless CCP forum moderators refuse to do. ôHey Pubbie, stop taking internet spaceships seriously!ö some of you goons may say. Well no , Sherlock. But a game is meant for players to play, not a particular subset of 5000 members of one alliance to take a dump on. IÆd have to question who is æreallyÆ taking things too seriously when youÆre going out of your way trying to forum spam for s and giggles this week, threadnaughting and spreading libel about CCP across the internet a few weeks ago, and god knows what else when the urge hits in another few weeks. Right. That should be about all now. If you want to talk random **, thereÆs other forums for that. But nobody on CAOD or E-O needs to know what lunch you had, what your favorite color is, or read a post which consists only of the word æmylpÆ or æwutÆ. I think its a greatway to promote some sort of social bridge among alliances, even those in war. Ofcourse it can go two ways, but overall ppl get more relaxed and easy-going or leaves eve. The latter would prolly have happend eventually and is rare luckily. Keep the spam at a level, but dont leave it out.
