I'll be the other side of the coin, and say 9 hour downtime. I feel that if I keep my expectation slow, then when CCP beats my time I'll be happy. As long as they have the server running 48 hours from now so I can change my skills I'll be happy.

Main switched from a 9h at DT skill to a 5d15h skill, alt switched from 11h skill to a 4d4h skill. Optimism is not one of my qualities. :)

CCP has in recent times been getting better and better with their upgrades and patches so I expect that they will make it exactly on time. If not wel I would be silly not to have a 34 Hours skill training set... CCP will have to make a big booboo to beat that one.  Should have gone for the 54 day one just in case I know

Some people run betting pools on patch day DT length.
I put my money where my mouth is and I set an 8 hour skill training.
But 5 hour skill, That's Hardcore.

Ah, finaly a post thats fun.
Dt is scheduled for 3 hours.
i guess it lasts 5 hours.
So i say it's an Over bet
i do remember at fanfest, i watched on eve-tv.
that a spokesman on stage mentioned good luck on the deployment on tuesday. this made me think there is more in this patch than ccp is posting in the news patch notes.
