A reliable source of mine informs me that CUlt are as of last week reaping no small amount of havoc within the ranks of Techell in ALgogille. Apparently, and this is the twist! CUlt are under contract from MOo of all corps and being paid quite handsomly to by all accounts. Lord Zap who recently left MOo has by all accounts asked to Join CUlt. he was also rumoured to have brokered the contract over bad feeling with Techell.
SO the smallest corp in the EvE universe goes to war with the largest. Initial estimates place Techell losses at over 10 ships to CUlts none! Rumours suggest that several Techell players have resigned and joined Junior corps in an attempt to escape CUlts attention.
Rumours also abound of a hasty offer from Tecehll to buy out the contract placed on them! This is not confirmed however. CUlt? Although knowing CUlt that would have to be an awfull lot of money!!!

Oh lovely, another conspiracy theory :-)
All nice and dandy, but alas you don't offer any theories as to why m0o would part with money to annoy Techell. It all sounds less than plausible to me :-)

This is not a conspiracy as CUlt are indeed at war with Techell. They would not be unless they were being paid an awfull lot of money by someone!! There are only a few corps in game that can afford to contract CUlt. I also dont see any denials yet?

Man for man probably the best Pvpers in game :) By reputation at least! Of course reps are very objective things in a game! So no im not saying they are the best just that they are indeed very good at what they do and this is recognised by many (Including the better Pirates).
The fact that you've not heard of them suggest one of two things!
A. Your a total noob and been in game about a week. Everyone who is someone has at least heard of CUlt :) So your obviously a no-one by your own admission!
B. You dont get out much and stay logged in station waiting for a gank fest.

I just looked at your profile, IcemansMiner, and every single post you have ever made on these forums has been about the CoC. The way you've consistantly gone on about Soul Reaver as well in all your posts makes me think that you must either be his alt, or be a another CoC member alt with a serious man-love problem. I know you'll deny it, but the circumstantial evidence is pretty condemning.
Next question: why would a CoC alt make a post about being paid by m0o to fight Techell? Im guessing m0o wouldn't want their personal dealings sprayed all over the forums. Im also guessing that you're probably posting it to get attention and to try and boost CoC's profile, as you have done in all of your other posts on these forums.
Anyways, just thought I'd make some pretty obvious observations for the entertainment value of watching you sweat your way out of it. You really have to try harder if you want to make an incognito alt. I mean, posting private information between m0o and CoC and then private information between CoC and Techell is pretty obvious in itself. Your profile tells us the rest.

Some good observations :)
Yes I am Alt of course but.
A. Not of a CUlt member :) Actually I tried to join but was politley told nay.
B. Had the pleasure to see CUlt in action a lot of times in Aunenen and also EC from ages back and also recently to in Algogille against Techell.
C. This forum is about roleplay is it not and providing content for in game? My corp hears rumours and posts about them to creat intrigue and game content. This one is NOT a rumour.. Ask Techel ha ha
D. CUlt are at war with Techel and Still no denails of Moo paying them which is interesting in iteself. Lots of digression towards my motives but no denial he he... Either from Moo or indeed from CUlt either!
E. I dont think ive ever heard of an instance of CUlt smack talking or bumping up their image here or in game. I am not affiliated to them in any way. Well not in ways you would think of anyways!
F. Soul Reaver is one of the games funnier and more honourable players and lent me some money way back when I was a noob trying to learn PvP under my main characters name. So yes in that sense im in Love ha ha ha
G. Yes I follow what they do as I and my corp like them and yes my posts have reflected this. Are we not allowed to have favorite corps and then talk about them? Or is that a conspiracy in of itself? CUlt are my favorite Corp in game. Although I have no connection to them.
H. I am a member of a corp who has had connections and has paid them in the past however :)

A fair enough response. I admit that I had my doubts considering how wrong you got the CoC/Evol conspiracy theory, but I thought I'd see if I could call a bluff anyway ;)

Well, hell boy - you gotta stop obsessing! I've seen fanboys before, but none quite as dedicated as you. Perhaps it would be wiser not to start calling other players "xxx wannabes" eh?

Fighting Curse Alliance for many many months with Everlasting Vendetta, and now fighting everyone with m0o... yep a total nubi...
Seems to me that declaring war on a manufacturing corporation is pretty cowardly... if they are so uber they would declare war on a PvP corp no??

see? a 'reliable source' can say anything. the fact that you have no reputation to back up your claims, nor will you give information on your source, leads me to believe, that you're just upset about something, and have decided to try and stir up problems where there are none.

their is some ammount of garbage flaoting around the EVE forums lately.
Cult have like 4 members, and they are mostly pirate hunters, u think it would make them look good being allies of mOo?.

There is no logical explanation as to why m0o would pay some small nub corp to declare war on Techell, who in fact are paying m0o a great deal of money. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence can see that despite his claims to the contrary Icemansminer is probably a n00b alt of one of the n00b coc people. He's just trying to raise coc's profile by posting lame, nonsensical conspiracy theories. A tip, if you wish to raise your profile at least make the ideas presented plausible otherwise you just succeed in making yourself appear foolish. Here is your denial.
ANother tip, rather than posting lame threads you would glean greater success from actually doing something extraordinary ingame, like practicing guerilla tactics against one of the large alliances or declaring war on an established pVp corp. As Drunkenmaster and Draximus pointed out, I've never even heard of Cult of whatever, let alone fought against them. So, to boldly claim them to be the best pvp'ers ingame doesn't carry much weight with me im afraid.
Please get a clue.

Every time I see something about CoC it is that they are elite this and elite that and possibly the best pvpers in the game. Anyone who tries to make such a claim, about ANYONE, shows how little he or she knows about pvp in this game.
ItÆs not very complicated and doesnÆt require any sort of reflexes. Right click, lock target, F1, F2, F3, F4,à etc. The fight is won or lost by your setup even before you left the station. Sure there is ôstrategyö and ôtacticsö that come into play for fleet battles but we are talking about ôman for man probably the best Pvpers in gameö as you put it.
I have only met one Cult member (he knows who he is) and it was about 4 or 5 months ago. He along with another pilot from FA challenged me to a 1v1 (this was back when I was stupid enough to accept such pointless, profitless ventures). I told them both I would oblige and accepted the fight with the CoC pilot first. Once we were alone in our system we went at it. I knew what setup he had and fitted accordingly. Because of this the fight was not even close however I neglected to make sure his friend was several systems over and not more then 30 seconds into the fight did the FA pilot come warping in. I had no choice but to warp out before he could lock me (pre-castor). I did leave the CoC guy with about 10-15% before I left.
This was the first and only encounter I had with CoC. Not very impressed.

I think SA, FA, and CFS can testify that Bob is no noob. If you are still unsure then check our kill list and you will see his name pop up quite often as he is a very active killer. He has been with the corp longer then you care to even look up.

CoC are definitely above average when it comes to pvp, but as for best in the game... that's not really a claim anyone can make.
People think I'm good at pvp, because I make videos of me killing stuff. The only people that *know* are those that I have fought with or against.
In the grand scheme of things, I probably suck.
It's very hard to make such a distinction when the only thing that seperates two fighters is their loadouts, and speed with a mouse/keyboard.
Also, this thread needs to be culled.
