i think it means after the podkilling, it did not stop people paying ransoms.
edit: and as the notes said it was rare

There was a bug, that happened rarely, but they fixed it.
I don't get the humour of this at all.

Typical fixing something that ain't no bug to start with.
ofc you can't open your wallet. Where would you keep your wallet after podded?? I just ask..
