They are optimizations, that add speed, that make client faster.
Why would you need to know the spesifics?

Dead code/files that were still being initialized and "read" but didn't need to would be an example. Even if a file is outdated, it is very possible that a client/program is still reading that data regardless if it has any impact on the program itself. Which takes time and therefor slows things down.
Hope that helps =)

Actually, no. That same phrase has been in many patch notes.

Maybe because of people like you who are too busy whining on the forums to submit a bug report?
And don't give me that "It's not my job". If you don't try to get something fixed, you have no right to complain when it's not.

Hm really... STFU!
If my car is broken and i give it to some mechanics... they give it back to me but the car is still broken... i cant complain about it? I have to find and fix the broken part myself huh? It is my right to complain about a product i have bought because i am a "customer" who doesnt get what they announced.
It is not my job to write a bugreport. Especially, if they announce that this has been fixed allready, why should i write one?

Quick comment from someone who does have a job writing bug reports (not for ccp). It's not fun work. Not fun at all. So why would I want to pay someone for the priviledge of testing their game and writing bug reports for them?

Ya, maybe they will ban me for beeing sarcastic. But someone has to point on CCP's errors over and over so they may think "maybe we should check our patches better, they are laughing about us". Normal threads with arguments doesnt change anything... maybe this will work. :P

Erm, you just proved my point completely you silly moo :P
You have to take the car to the mechanic to get it fixed. You can't just expect him to sense it's broken and come fix it for you :P

This bug is very known so what are u talking about? If they hadnt knowledge about this bug there would be no bugfix for it.

Sigh. Let's do this slower.
They tried to fix it in this patch. This patch didn't fix it. Evidently they though it had fixed it. So someone needs to tell them it didn't. Ergo bugreport.
BING!
