it would also help a lot if ppl would post more details as there are different ways to run Eve on linux
- distribution (version if available) - hardware (gfx card + glxinfo reported driver/dri , cpu and other useful stuff if needed) - what way is used to run Eve (wine, cedega, crossover, wrapped client from CCP) + version - used Server (TQ or SISI + version)
----------- - reduce light, medium and heavy drone rof (default 2 sec) - server side event filtering for turret and effects - module grouping for less server calls - fix grid loading isses

Adding to the list :) If it's a laptop, please state it clearly. There are differences between a "7900 GS" and a "Go 7900 GS" for example.

Also, state if you are using a composite manager like compiz or xcompmgr when running Eve. Composite managers can cause stability issues with some games, and also contribute to frame rate slowdowns and graphical glitches. Please make sure you kill all composite managers before running the Eve client if you are having problems.
