So I got a mission and everyone told me to get a new ship so i did now i have no idea how to board that new ship. I learn the skill require to pilot it but i cant seem to be able to get out of my rookie ship. To change would i need to be in or out of the station? also the ship is part of my asset i try clicking it wouldnt come up. What happen to my rookie ship when i get the new one is there anyway of storing more then 1 ship

dock
right click on your ship, eject
goto the ships/hangers window
right click that ship, assemble
right click, board (i think)

You sure its in the same station as you?

Why eject from your ship? Just assemble the other ship and board it.

yeah so far i only figure out how to get to different station if its in the mission but when i bought the ship i made sure it had the station name in which i was. Im not yet famaliar with different spaces and i heard of ppl getting shot down.

it explains all this kind of stuff.
dont worry about getting blown up by other people as long as youre in 0.5 or above security space. venture outside of there and you'll probably go boom.
to really answer your question: dock at the station your shiny new frigate is in, open the ship hangar from the bar on the left, right click your new ship, hit assemble. you now have 2 assembled ships. now right click your new 1337 frigate of doom and click make active. congrats, you are now sitting in your new pwnage frig of pwning +3, and your old lame rookie ship is sitting in the hangar still. you'll never go back!
*sigh* oh the good old days hehe

whitout that you probably will have a EXTREME hard time understand anything in this game.

Theres a "help" channel new players should use extensivly. Its very good and helpful and friendly.
