Goons have a new requirement in order to be able to join their fleets - They want FULL ASSET list. Is there really any good reason for this? The topper on all of this is the shame list for corporations that don't comply.
The following was sent out to all members of the CFC:
vCode needs to have a minimum access mask of 50725130 (following the link above will create a key with this mask) which is the following access
-á-á-á-áPrivate Information: AccountStatus
-á-á-á-áPrivate Information: CharacterInfo
-á-á-á-áPrivate Information: SkillQueue
-á-á-á-áPrivate Information: SkillInTraining
-á-á-á-áPrivate Information: CharacterSheet
-á-á-á-áPrivate Information: AssetList
-á-á-á-áPublic Information: KillLog
Your vCode needs to list ALL characters on your account and by of type Character
Your vCode needs to have no expiration date (make sure the No Expiry checkbox is checked)
Compliance numbers continue to climb with regards to the new vCode requirements, however there are still some alt corps that are not in compliance.-á-áThere are also some member corps that aren't in compliance either, I've added these to the list.

You realize that only applies to corps in GSF and its corp api NOT individual api.
that seems like pretty standard stuff an alliance would need to know about its corps. |

No in order to join GSF coms you need to provide all this information. And anyways only reason to know complete asset list is to probe out the big fish and hack their account...or gank them...you know that there are sites where once you have the API you can see where assets are in real time? |

The reason why Goonswarm wants this information is shut up and comply, this alliance has never been a democracy. You either do what Solo Drakban requests of you or you get out because Solo controls the forums and if you do not understand why that is the most important thing then you don't need to be in Goonswarm. I am sure there are reasons with regards to game mechanics or with regards to an evil conspiracy regarding the reptilian shadow government and the Illuminati mind control lasers, but all of that is fluff. You do it because Solo Drakban put out a broadcast, and you do what Solo Drakban says to do or you find yourself a different Alliance.

It's only for corps, dipshit. This is standard information that alliances want about their member/altcorps.
For instance, the bottom of that post lists Vorkuta Inc (now in compliance), and my corp was not in compliance for 2 days.
Why? Because I'm too lazy to open the eve online site and fix the full API mask that Solo already had on file. |
